and even more boring
a piece of duct into loft

just to show my ducting is less than one meter to the fan
but almost perfectly straight
because its a budget setup

fan sits upright on top of 12-14" of rockwool
with more rockwool draped over to deaden sound

my intake i think is too small
its roughly 3" x 5" square (input please)

have good NEG. Pressure (too much??)

also got velcro and hooks for filter from wilkos so another £4 spent
i did what Cannabisking suggested
put velcro in little squares and it works a treat

Peace

Looks awesome to me, DIY is never boring mate, LOVE that filter hanging malarky too, nice straight line to the fan, wish I could do that :headpain:

Scrap the intake mate, I haven't got one, I just cut a hole in the side and put one of those sliding vents over it, have you got a fan controller, ya can get a really cheap one on fleabay for about 7 quid, ya just plug ya fan into that then that into the socket, it has a little dial to control the power to the fan so you're in control of temps and how much neg pressure you have... of course just ignore me if you're already on it like

Any plants yet mate?

Thing is mate cos you're using a passive and ya in a bedroom if the temp of that room is warm then no size intake will improve that, ya either need to get some ducting and intake from a window, purchase an air con unit or upgrade ya extraction?

Bank manager says ducting mate :yep:

Re ya plants, I showed ya mine :( haha

there is another window i could do this to also

dont really want my window open when its cold out
it looks odd (nosy neighbours)

looking good rellik :yep:

the only things left to do is to move your electrical stuff up off the floor & mount
them to a board & screw the board to a brick wall, preferably above waist height

Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another,Inferior, Is finally,
And permanently, Discredited, And abandoned,Everywhere is war,Me say war.
That until there no longer First class and second class citizens of any nation,
Until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes, Me say war.
That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all, Without regard to race, Dis a war.

Mounting aa board to the wall is easy, a couple of wooden batons (2"x2") then a bit of wood for the mounting board.
