Hi just woundering of many pheno types of blues are they and are they all good or is there any bad pheno types and what's famel and male ratio people have been getting out of 10 seeds thanks

Hey autopot grower, Im using autopots and Ive just got some blues. Ive read a lot on here and folk who have grown them have had allsorts of different results m/f ratio wise. And also when you do identify the females, im pretty sure you wont get any phenos that your dissapointed with. Hope this helps. Zion86

There was very little to differentiate the phenos I got. I've said before that they were almost like the same cut grown under varying conditions.
I don't think m/f ratio is something that can be judged on a strain by strain basis I think it's entirely random with a touch of environment thrown in.

thanks for the replys ill have to try these i think ill put 2 down tonite and hope at least ones a fem to be a mother but knowing my luck both will be males .is the best way on sexing them buy growing my 2 i have and take a few cuts of each and flower the cuts to see or is it just easyer to put them in to flower from seed and once i see the sex switch back to 18/6

They will kick out preflowers to show sex when they are ready. If ya wanting to know sex earlier then ya can switch 12/12 til they show and then flip back to veg hours. Or take cuts and flower cuts.

Mine are midway through flowering and all five look pretty uniform so far.

E2a: just let them preflower naturally. Oh and I'd pop at least three beans if I were you.

It's always done me proud that - 3 days 12/12 then they tend to show gender within a week I've found

ok ill give that a go so i just put them on flower for 3 days only then back to 18/6 this wornt stresthem and turn the hermies will it chers ill giv it ago any way they not come up yet shall i give them about 3 weeks befor i try the 3days 12/12 or veg them longer first like 6 week as am hopeing to do it the fastest way as poss as i only have room for one mother

I always prefere to wait untill they decide to show sex themself`s which IME is around the 4-6 week mark but as the guys have pointed out you can stick them into flower for 3 days then back to veg to trigger the pre-flowers .

But i still would rather wait for nature to take its course

okthanks ill do it on the 4thnode cheers i know the naturalway is prob better as its nature but think it will be fast the 3days in and then back out again and ill try the 20/4 method only ever tryed 24/0 or 18/6 will they show sexafter the 3 days on 12/12 or while they in the 12/12 cycle

ok ill try it and look ou for them to show thanks for the help as iv allways used fem seeds this is the second time ihave used non femed seeds and the first time i wernt keeping a mother so i just put them all in to flower and pulled males out and left fems in but i defo want a mother on this train just hope its as good as the livers/blues
