Hi, We have just chopped one of our first grows :yahoo: One plant was ready before the other three. Now... its Christmas and can't wait. We are not smokers, but canna butter cookers and before, because I have had to buy from dealers in order to cook, the bud has always been dry. I just wondered if you can make butter with freshly chopped bud?

Well, its now 3 day old drying in loft, but want to use it NOW :guitar:  :stoned: :upside:

Thanks if anyone can help...

I've made butter from fresh trim so I'm sure fresh bud will do just fine :)

Hi there mate, half of my guerrilla grow this year went to butter after three day of fast drying (placed in layers of newspaper). Holands Hope and Easy Sativa!! The final product did not get me high- Piss me off!! When I do the right steps, the butter sends me to the moon. All the best guy.

Glad To hear the butter worked for you - btw I'm a Mrs Melody2020 :hi:  Forgiven though :B): I daren't fast dry, after reading the Harvest & Curing section. Neither can we wait two or three weeks for drying and then curing. (not for this first one of our very own!) Can't tell how proud I am of my first grow :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:
