I find it really hard to taste weeds, I've done some bloody good grows and been to the dam about 10 times, however I really struggle to actually "taste" the different weeds.

I'm sat with people saying they can taste this and that but I can't. Mates can have a toke on some of mine and go "ahhhh is this that stuff you had x months ago??" - I could never do that.

Is there any secrets to tasting weed? In a joint? I'm sure vapeing is different.

I know I'm really allergic to most weeds (and most other things to be fair) I crop with a mask on! , could this be contributing to my lack of taste? I'm fairly young and comparing myself to people who smoke 20 ciggs and 10 joints a day so it's hardly that I've killed my taste buds.

Do you smoke with baccy bluez?

e2a and if so do you smoke cigs too? If you're a non-smoker who smokes weed with baccy then I'd imagine it's pretty hard to taste the weed.

taste is almost entirely smell. it could be down to the way your are smoking it, maybe none of it is getting into your nose. what i also find interesting is that things smell/taste differently depending on if you are inhaling the smell or exhaling the smell!

I can't advise that much because i much prefer the taste of vape to the taste i get when i inhale from a j. the smell of grass smoke is lovely though when smelled from afar.

Vaping really is different, you maybe should give it a go...

I like the smell of spliffs, but you do so appreciate the taste with a vape. So many flavours that were smothered by baccy...

Maybe try a pure spliff if yah can't try a vape... Really think that baccy is to blame...

eta Breathing out through the nose after a blast on a vape is my prefered method for getting the best taste...

Tbh i've only tried the iolite and the Arizer Extreme Q...I own both, but never really get the iolite out...

I couldn't risk forking out for a volcano incase i didn't really like...

Bought the iolite first...Then got the Extreme -q... Not ever looked back...

For me it was a toss up between the Herbalaire and the extreme-q... Sadly, the cheaper vapes just don't seem as good from what ive read...

eta...Mine was the older model of iolite though, it may have improved...

Extreme Q does, not the iolite. Iolite is direct draw through a short rigid tube...

For a start as has been said you need to axe the baccy.

Taste for me can be gained more by sort of rolling your tongue in the back of your throat as and after you have exahled. Hard to explain as it just comes. A bit like tasting wine I suppose.
