Hi people its time to put my babies in the twin amazon.
there 2 weeks old now and the roots are getting longer.

so the things is how close to put the tubes?

ive read that to start high and over the days to bring them down to about 18" 20" dose this sound right? any extra addvce would be good!!

Sounds about right :yep:

Rule of thumb is to hold your hand flat out at the height of your plant tops for a minute or so. If you feel burning, so will your plants.

You could probably get a bit closer with the cool tubes...

Unless there of a reasonable size I would have thought 1200watts of mh is way overkill for two week old seedlings, 600watts is more than enough for babies , in fact I'd go with a 250watt for at least the first 3-4 weeks, unless like i said there getting pretty big and your workin on a large scale

hi ill have to use 2 x600 because the systems long and thats all the lights ive got... ive got the p4 over them in the x-stream but it wont cover them in the twin amazon 16 pot and the roots are getting long and i wont to pull them through net pots before i cant!! ... are they over kill and what can i do with what ive got.... thanks! :dj:

Try and place the system under one of the 600w and switch only 1 on till about 2 weeks. If that's possible

hi bigbud. why 2 weeks with one 600w dont i need to flip them at 4 weeks from seed. then change the the bulbs for hps ones.. sorry its my first grow :guitar:

ps my tent 240 wide and theres a foot half of ducting between tubes if this help??

Hi i just looked at the sun-masters box and the 600w lets out 90.000 lumen's where my PL4 veg light only gives off 19,200 lumen's.

The amazon is 24" wide 58" long. dose any one know if the cool-tubes will cover this as i don't wont to kill my blueberry babies :unsure:
