I have been asked numerous times when Seedism will start selling auto-flowering seeds.

Seedism seeds is not planning to ever try breeding auto-flowering strains, there is no reason for this since all seeds can produce Cannabis withing the time advertised for auto-flowering strains.

All Seedism seeds can finish just as fast as the best auto-flowering strain.

First a few facts that need to be mentioned.

1. A true Auto-flowering strain need 24 hrs of HID/SUN light to optimize production and potency

This means double the electricity bill

2. True Auto-flowering strains are created by breeding inferior medicinal genetics (Adding Ruderalis for their quick flowering pheno's).

These strains have a purpose when there is no other way to grow but outdoors in temperate climates, they are not intended to be growing inside high tech grow rooms, your indoor grow room is perfect for high quality medicinal grade genetics.

3. Auto-flowering strains can not be used as a clone donor, this means that breeders can not test their genetics before hybridizing.

How to finish Seedism seeds just as quick as auto-flowering strains with only half the electricity bill.

1. Germinate your seeds like normally.

2. Grow them with 18hrs light for two weeks.

3. Flower them for 8-10 weeks (12hrs. light) depending on which Seedism strain you use.

4. Harvest and dry.

Done.

Auto-flowering seeds take minimum of 10-11 weeks after germination.

Seedism seeds take maximum of 10-11 weeks after germination with mentioned light shedule.

All Seedism seeds grown this way are of superior quality and has high grade medicinal values, no Ruderalis genetics have been used to create our genetics.

If anybody requires more info on how to finish a particular Seedism strain then this is the thread to ask me.

ps. I prefer to grow my plants for about 4 weeks before flowering, and my average yield is triple that of most autoflowering strains.

Which is an interesting bit of mathematics, 3 weeks more veg. time to triple the yield.
Although the last person I spoke to says that he preffered the three week early harvest over the triple yield, I guess that he will never understand these numbers, bless his simple soul.

Peace

There's lots of reasons to buy autos; for the first-time hobby grower and farter-abouter they are great.
I'm not sure of the wisdom of negative advertising on something that is not really in competition with your own product. I think it looks a bit naff.

just read your post after reading this topic here:

http://www.uk420.com...c=243225&st=225

:headpain:

The 9 autos took 65 days since germination to harvest.

65 x 18 = 1170 hours with the lights on

1416 - 1170 = 246 hours of light saving with the autos

Conclusion: Less energy used, 35 days faster and more production.

wow really ?
there is some top growers on this site and ive seen em grow many Autos and turn out absolutely fantastic.

what a dirt thread this is, 24 hrs lights, double electricity bills, really ? and the word "facts" put before it, really ?

and obviously if i was growing an Auto i wouldn't be wanting clones in the first place so its hardly a relevant point to make.

lots of cannaventuristic quotes here ..and a lot of bullshit info too ...if you dont like autos then dont grow em simple ..but to suggest that they cost more to grow thru leccy is just hogwash ..your telling me that an auto creme caramel harvested at 56 days from seed uses the same leccy or more ,as a reg strain vegged two weeks at 18/6 then 8-10 weeks at 12/12 doesnt add up .just cos some dont like them doesnt mean all dont like them.

Most of my autos were always done 9-10 weeks.

So lets say they take 10 whole weeks at 18 hours light.

18 hrs x 7 days x 10 weeks = 1260 hours.

Let's say you veg photos for at least 4 weeks from seed (which you should as they need to reach sexual maturity before 12/12), then flower for 9 weeks.

18hrs x 7 days x 4 weeks = 504 hrs veg
12hrs x 7 days x 9 weeks = 756 hrs flower
Total = 1260 hours light.

Looks the same to me :yep:

I do both so I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone lol but I just don't think they can be compared like that :D

My grow space is valuable to me so need to get near to GPW atleast. If there's an auto that can do this i'd be happy to give um a go. Looking for suggestions, this isn't a moan.

I saw a TD auto grow recently but the grower was a newb so didn't get close to GPW. He did admit there were issues though and should have yielded more. Will check out some threads and see who's hitting what. Thanks

When auto's originally came out I looked into them and decided they probably werent for me, I have looked at a couple of grow diaries recently though and have been impressed, I personally think they have there place in the market, for example im now going to try a couple in my veg area thats always on 18/6 so it isnt going to cost me any more than normal but will give me a chance to have some different strains in my jars, I couldnt do this with normal photo's
