But....
I can't help but say this, because I think it is important. Thing is, I believe this to be a great video, ... if you are already convinced about the matter, on our side so to speak.
However, its use is limited, its not really the sort of fare one can use in cannabis debates with non-users, with "non believers". For example, I don't think it would help if I were to send it to some straights, say to my MP. And its those sort of folk we need to convince.
For example, the constant refrain "So what?" is way too "in the face" for it to be useful in discussions with non cannabis folks. As is the use of rap, which lets face it, is not the musical choice of most Daily Mail types, and they are the ones we need to convince. They will make assumptions that are entirely incorrect, but which will stem from the use of rap which is associated in the white mind with gangster culture, guns and crack cocaine. Wrongly, as it happens. But that's what will happen, IMO.
Still, its an excellent video, and will stir up support for Winston amongst the pro cannabis community and even beyond, given a readiness to work with the rap lyrics and angry tone of things, which is entirely justifiable.
I will use it, I have some folks I know who will benefit from it. But alas it is not a tool I can use far and wide.
All this said, I repeat: Its a fine, fine effort and shows a high degree of professionalism. Excellent work, and at the very least I hope it brings a smile to Winston's face. I feel for him, we were fellow inmates once, and although we have had our differences of opinion on things before, I would not wish for him to spend another minute inside. He's a gentle, and very open hearted type of chap (if he's still the same old Winnie), and wouldn't harm a fly. I can't help but worry for him, he needs someone to watch his back, and look after him in the prison environment.
I think of him almost every day, as it happens. I can't say too much, but if anyone does visit him, tell him his old "B Wing" buddie from that place near Nettlebed is thinking of him, and wishes him all the best. Will write to him too, soon. Hope he's getting tons of support.
Its a travesty of justice, a disgrace. Imprisoning the sick and disabled, for their private consumption of beneficial herbs? My God, what kind of man/woman/troll-thing was this judge?

Bayer = evil
"Find out for yourself what is truth, what is real. Discover that there are virtuous things and there are non-virtuous things. Once you have discovered for yourself give up the bad and embrace the good."

i will be sure to pass on your regards next time i write, he had a visit from chris baldwin yesterday and has now stopped taking his medication as its not doing his mind good, he loves the support and letters but things are slowing now, a few of us are writing weekly, more letters would be great support for him. He has had some bad news about his health, i dont have futher details yet, but this may mean he gets an earlier release. Its just so wrng he ever had to be there.
