Sorry to hear of some of your troubles
I will try and clear a few issues up.
The consistancy of the Oldtimer Bloom has been the same all along, this has not changed from batch to batch. Unfortunately we can not be held accountable for items being stored incorrectly by either the end user or retail outlets, but to be fair in most instances people do not encounter issues.
Each batch undergoes analysis to ensure all targets are met, the amount of organic matter, trace elements etc This analysis for us means alot, it ties in the job cards with each batch, you will see on the bottles a batch code normally on the reverse of the bottle, it looks like a price label. We put this on their for the "just in case" scenarios. Should any of you guys experience any issues with ANY of our products not just the Oldtimer please do not hesitate to get in touch quoting the batch number. For a quicker response it would probably be better to go via our website and use the contact us link
Back in July our supplier had changed the mollasses in the bloom formulation, the product itself was better than it ever had been, they told me that the mollasses was more microbial friendly, but we soon saw that some of the bottles started expanding as some of you here have mentioned, I was told as it was more friendly and a greater food source for the microbes it produced C02, with a sealed lid on it just expanded the bottles. We quickly re-called all stock of this batch and are confident that we managed to recieve most the stock back. There would have obviously been a few bottles that may have been purchased in the over lap, but this really would have been minimal. As I say though, this particular batch should work alot better than all previous batches. But if anyone wants replacements get in touch via our contact us button on our website with a photo of the bottle in question and I will have no issues what so ever to replace this item for you
