hi everyone,
what spectrum is most useful for growing marijuana? most of people said add UV and IR is better, but it seems the UV and IR have by-effect for person and plants. so Puzzled! :wallbash:

Metal halide is said to be best for veg and then HPS for flower.

HPS all the way, grow and bloom.

Unless your willing to pay top end for the 7200k bulb- £40 for a 600w then your much better of with the HPS.

Some say MH in the last few weeks of flower increase the psychoactive properties of the plant. I didn't notice that personally.

duel spectrum HPS for me all the way through i use 250w for veg and 600w for flower :spliff:

i use 250w mh for the first 3 weeks of veg then swap to a 600w hps for flower and the look good and healthy mateAttached Image
