It seems like there are plenty of people , smokers, growers, seedbanks chatting about 'Exodus cheese' or 'The Exodus' or now 'Exodus Kush' with little or no knowledge of what Exodus was and what it meant.

To some folks it was just a cracking free party at the end of the week and to others it was a way of life , a different way of thinking about social structure and interpersonal relationships.

This films 45 minutes long, if you have an interest in alternative visions of the way society could be then make a cuppa, roll a spliff and have a look. If you think everythings ok and were well looked after by our elders and 'betters' then this wont interest you :)

(mods please move this if you feel it belongs somewhere else)
“There is no reason to accept the doctrines crafted to sustain power and privilege, or to believe that we are constrained by mysterious and unknown social laws. These are simply decisions made within institutions that are subject to human will and that must face the test of legitimacy. And if they do not meet the test, they can be replaced by other institutions that are more free and more just, as has happened often in the past.”

Oneness :yinyang:

Why is this sort of thing not going on now? I think the people could really benefit a lot from a real life in a real community.

I think the most moving moment was when he said how to handle naughty kids.
If there's one place where it's undeniable that society needs to change, that's it........ and I can well believe Exodus showed the way there.

What would Exodus have become if it had continued?
Would it now be running a successful school?

:ninja:
....at the third toke, it will be fucked o' clock, precisely

They hit alcohol sales in Luton very hard and showed people how to have a good time together, of course they wouldn't be allowed to carry on, but their parties were the nuts !

Exodus reminds me mostly of two things. One being my mate driving the whole way back from there with his car stuck in second gear on what was normally about a 45 minute drive depending on location.

I remember it well because he left the car abandoned on my road for two months as a reminder of the occasion. Eventually he was nice enough to remove the thing.

The second was us discussing our weekend rave adventures on a Monday morning at school still half death in need of sleep stoned from pre school spliffs behind the village hall.

Exodus means the good old days :)
