Now then everyone, this is my first post.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of the amount of money (in £GBP) I would need for a 'smoking' trip to Amsterdam, that's NOT including the travel (ferry) but IT IS including what I would need for the accommodation, food, the smoke obviously, all the other necessities (few beers etc) and MAYBE a BJ or 2! . I don't mean the absolute minimum I would need to take as I would want to take enough money to be comfortable over there for the trip and to sample a good selection of the smoke/food they have on offer over there!

Me and a pal was planning on taking the ferry on the Thursday night, which gives us Friday, Saturday and Sunday day there.. before we plan to come back on the Sunday night. So enough money for 3 days and 2 nights basically!

I would say about 350- 400 euro mate, including accomodation.

That should sort you out nicely for the few days you are there.

I have to admit i didnt factor into account the whores, so add on abit extra for as many times you intend to go.

I look at it like this... Accom = 150-250 euro cheapest
Food/Drink = 30 euro a day
Smokes = 40 euro a day
Extras = 10 euro a day

Depending on accomodation also: I would stay in a hostel to save cash.

and Not including whores, because i dont know how much they charge.

So probably abit over my last estimate.. 400-450 euro id say.

You can easily spend so much more, but if you take a budget you will save bleeding yourself dry.

how syphillitic do you want your whores sir ..cos theres a few that will do some disgusting shit for very little but you will wake up with some passengers in the nethers and probably a vastly shortened life span ..other than that id take a min of £1000..mainly cos when i get the munchies i know how many choccie digestives i can get through and those coffeeshops tend to sell them in packs of 3 only ..

A lot depends on where you are prepared to sleep and eat.....and if you like to drink alcohol.
I've done my time staying in cheap dumps and eating shyte.....too old for that now.

For me it would be something like:

Accomodation - €80 - €150 per night
Food - €70 - €80 per day
Smokes - €50 per day
Beers - €30 - €40 per day (softs are expensive too)
Misc Ents (museums and shit) - €30 - €40 per day
Emergency Fund - €200

If you fancy RLD activity, the usual rate for S&F is €50 (15 minutes of quality time)

i budget about £150/day for spending, weed is FROM about £10/gram and upto £35ish so it depends on what ya wanna smoke? a couple or 3 drinks in the coffeeshop too. then food? depends on if you want mac d's or steak house? and accom can be from £30 to £230/ night? i use the greenhouse effect appartments which are 170 euro/night but room for 4. then there's the extra £50 or so for the post home

I would be looking at getting a second mortgage for the trip, with the prices they now charging nowadays your local dealer is probably a cheaper option.

Amsterdam is ok,nowt really special though,Prague is being touted as the new Amsterdam,wouldnt you get more bang for your bucks and enjoy yourself a little more in Czech Just a suggestion
