Hi Guys

Got a right problem with my girls i think they are nycd but i cant be sure.
I have given them canna flush several times and i have also given them ripen.
I have also flushed them with plain ph`ed water too.
They are in plant magic soil, the envorment is spot on,they have been well looked after.
There is no smell to them they will not finish ripening, the leaves are a very dark green colour.
I am really lost as what to do now i think i may have to bin em and start again.
Has anyone got any idears?

H

The trics have not even started to expand and the sample i took to try was no good what so ever.
They will not ripen.

Looks like they've got major nute lockout..

What's all this PH / flushing and "ripen" business ?

Is it different to what you did before ?

Me, I use compost, tap water and tomato feed ...

I'd invest in some good genetics & start again chap, if it's a crap smoke after 15 weeks then it isn't going to improve.

It looks like they had way to much N plus some nutes lockout (especially calcium) this could be down to phing your compost .Its no good flushing with phed water either
I'd just give them plain water for a week or so and harvest

I wouldnt put to much importance on tester smokes, I find alot of potency comes after a proper dry and atleast a couple of weeks of being jarred.

They look 'ripe' to me. The trichomes dont expand, they turn clear to cloudy/milky to amber. Generally the more amber the heavier the stone, majority milky some clear the more up the high. Your calyxes look fully swollen and expanded.

I concur. I generally give up before then with SATIVAS - surely the plant in question is no more than a 10 week strain ?

I think i only gave them ferts at week 3-4 the rest of the time they have been on water.
It is gonna be a shame to throw the lot away but you are right in saying that i should start again.

I dont think anyone is suggesting to throw them away, cut them and dry them and after a nice cure they may surprise you. The amount of resin on your buds is not a general indicator of strength mate, I've grown buds that are very sparse with resin, hardly any trichs at all ( a certain Killer Skunk pheno I had) and boy what a nice trippy proper high I got off it and the high lasted for ages too

Hope it's not a total disappointment mate, especially after the time you have put into them :yinyang:

let them finish off, some plants thrics dont turn amber. they look ready to me , id start to give water only, then chop in a week. allso they ar purple, what tells me that they have been cold, at some point, like my own plants a few weeks back. :headpain: the cold locks out the feed,so it builds up. giving smaller buds than usual allso. your plants, look fine to me tho. carry on as normall. some buds get way better in the jars. as sumone said allready. ive found tho that most purple buds, dont taste as fruity as they can be. dont know why.? maybe due to the extra nitrogen, build up,or sum other nute ? hope your smoke turns out realy nice when in the jars :smoke:

No food for the past 10 weeks of flowering ?

Didn't they show more subtle signs of malnutrition before they turned this colour ?
