Highland Thai

Genetics: Traditional Thai/Burmese Highland Ganja Cultivar
Type: Pure Landrace
Variety: Highland Ganja Sativa
Height: up to 3m
Harvest: late December to early February
Flowering: 14 - 20 weeks
Characteristics: musky citrus flavour and trippy, heart-racing high, some purple expressions

This is a rare Highland Thai ganja sativa from the highlands of Northern Thailand, nearby Burma, and an ancient cannabis genepool in serious need of preservation. Plants are medium-tall, with asymmetric branching and quite dense buds for a SEAsian ganja line. Aromas are a distinctively musky lemon citrus, and colours range from light green to more purple-blue colourations. Around 50% of plants will turn purple with cold temperatures. The high is very trippy and heart-racing, and can be too much for inexperienced smokers. Plants with a more mellow thought-provoking effect can be found. Highly recommended for breeders and collectors. Owning this line entails a serious responsibilty to reproduce seeds and maintain clones.

purple calyxes - around 50% of plants turn purple with cool weather (winters in the Thai Highlands can be surprisingly cold, esp. during nights at the end of flowering season Jan/Feb)

Hi Namkha,

That sounds pretty special. Would this be a good cultivar to cross with one of the charas producing lines from the western end of the Himalayas ? Like Pahari Farmhouse or Malana ?

Thank you,
Ieyasu

sounds like a good idea to me... you could find plants in the North Indian strains which would bring down the flowering time, plus you would likely get some astounding flavours and great resin production... you will find that these lines already have fabulous vigour in their pure form, not least this Highland Thai, so I imagine the crosses would have a Marvel comics level of hybrid vigour... yeah, I would love to make a cross along those lines - the highs would be really mindblowing I expect - Malana x Highland Thai - wooweee - think I might have to jack in this collecting job and go back to growing haha

all best,

Namkha

Hay namkha,

I will be looking to purchase this strain after you have sent over the other freebies.. I am currently doing a Thai-Tanic, a thai hybrid, these are 7weeks flowering wednesday, and are smelling great. Although this looks very interesting, i am looking for a couple of traditional of eastern mothers to keep for future and projects.. I agree this strain sounds great to be crossed with a Nepealse/Indian charas plant.. i was thinking of doing a thai x haze hack.. in the future once selected all my mothers and fathers.

Can i get these straight from you ? ..also price?

Sticky!
