i went to phuket for the first time a couple of years ago, forgotten what the name of the area was i stayed at but it reminded me of benidorm for the same reasons you mention, didnt see a pie and mash shop though

Malibu beach that's around chaloklum isn't it , yeah it is nice over there I go on the sunrise side thong nai pan , bottle beach. Off the beaten track but paradise is the only way to describe it , a totally different world to pattaya you wouldn't think there part of the same country.

take yourself to Ko Samui and see how sorry you feel for them when they rob you at knife point because you look lost or drunk or they spike your drink and rob you blind.

I have no sympathy for them, they are grasses and parasites who prey upon tourists, JUST like their police counterparts.

All that bollocks about them being 'better than real girls' or a magical new '3rd sex' is horse shit too.

They're nasty 'young' boys in make up and girls clothes & as far as im concerned they need making an example of except that will just 'create' more of them.

Apart from the legal corruption and traffic stupidity they are one of the worst things about the kingdom, but they seem to be very popular with some folk.

So what, robberies and scams on tourists are only committed by ladyboys? Nah mate, tourist resorts the world over attract dodgy locals who take advantage of the naive, drunken, rich tourist. Got nothing to do with their sexuality, straight Thai men and women are equally adept at fleecing the foolish farang.

As to grasses - wtf do you expect, it's Thailand. Take it you've never seen the newspaper reports on users/dealers getting busted in Thailand?

Thais are the biggest nation of grasses I've ever come across. A large majority will grass you when the shit hits the fan, or if they can make an earner from it. Again, not a trait unique to ladyboys.

Plenty of ladyboys with succesful businesses or in normal jobs about, living normal lives aside from their different lifestyle choices. If you hang around trashy areas, you'll meet trashy people, of all sexualities.

1 - i didnt say all, you did

2 - i am not in touristy areas

3 - im not looking for them at all so i have no need to find them

4 - the ones in bangkok are just as fucked as the samui ones or the phuket ones or the pattaya ones.

5 - suicide is too good for them, they are fkn scum just like the scum from anywhere else with an excuse or 12 to abuse, molest & steal.

6 - normal lives???? dressing like the opposite sex in public and acting more bitchy/catty than females? there is and never will be anything normal about their behaviour.

i dunno why i numbered those, but fuck them in the face! my friend got locked up in a thai prison because of ladyboy/s planting shit on him when he was drunk and he was at an all night rave(not picking up boys in bikinis)

he then got wallet fucked by the police, and his lawyer, and his then girlfriend as well as spending about 5 weeks locked up!

We're still friends 10 years later but where are the parasites? exactly where they were, doing exactly what they did and do. Fuck Em!!

You're branding a whole group as "Scum" based on a couple of negative encounters with a couple of individuals from that group. In other words, being an ignorant fuckwit.

Guess what? I've been all over Thailand, been massively pissed on numerous occasions and I've never been stitched up by ladyboys, or anyone else, and ended up in a Thai jail as a result.

Neither do the vast majority of people who visit Thaialnd. So y'know, maybe it's that your pal is naive and stupid to end up in that situation in the first place? Maybe he shouldn't be getting pissed up in shitty tourist resorts in developing countries if he can't keep hold of his senses enough to not get fucked over by shemales!

You've obviously got major issues around ladyboys and feel really threatened by them so whatever, crack on spouting your prejudiced rubbish mate. :yep:

Haha, why isn't Pattaya the "real" Thailand? :)

Seemed pretty "real" to me last time I was there. :)

Let me rephrase that comment then. If you prefer the less seedy and more chilled parts of Thailand then you'll hate it. :yinyang:

haad rin

Couple of years ago a brit guy vanished,no trace,no sight,no sound since, like he never existed, cash hasnt been withdrawn from his account, nothing,he was last seen in the backyard bar in had rin,his name is Danny Hall, crimewatch did a feature on him recently, lots of speculation floating around, around the same time and area a brit couple were attacked by a hammer wielding swedish guy who was on the run with a french guy, there was a gang or iranian muggers arrested on the island, the last pic of Danny Hall shown on crimewatch showed one guy identified as a known violent western criminal, like I said, sometimes its the foreigners you need to be slightly wary of :ninja:

I like the backyard brings back good memories got hold of a lovely Spanish girl last time i was there. But your right what you say being honest the only arseholes i've met out there have been Westerners oh and Australian, never had problems with any Thais not to say there aren't dodgy ones as in any nationality. If you treat Thais with respect and a smile it goes a real long way the trouble with a lot of Westerners they act like arseholes and as you will know bad penny theres a big part of the Thai Psyche about saving face so you can find yourself in a world of shit go along that route.

yeah its chaloklum, very nice up there and away from the all the kaos of haad rin but only a short taxi ride if you fancy some kaos, i got some nice weed up there too, at one time weed was openly sold on the resort owned by koh pahangans chief of police, mushroom shakes too, all sold by the policemans wife while he swung on his hammock in the back ground :smokin:

you will love it mate. what kind of holiday are you going on? a party holiday or a family holiday? up all night drunk or chilled? just keep your wits about you and you will be fine, koh samui has some lovely paradise spots, its more built up than some of its surrounding islands but you can easily find peace and quiet there. there are gangs of ladyboys in some of the pub and cub areas at night but be cautious and you will be okay. you can also easily jump on a boat to koh phangan or koh tao

an old friend of mine got in trouble one too mny times with the law over here and did a runner to thailand, he was in with some right dodgy characters over there, up to some fraud scams with some thai people, he was the western face that cashed in on the stolen credit cards and travelers cheques, his life was cut short when he mysteriously fell from a very high balcony :spliff:
