Hi all

This is my now defunkt 2 level perpetual grow stealth cupboard in which I had 3 happy year's growing. It was in a cupboard that once housed an old central heating unit so had a handy flue pipe running up through the house to a vent in the roof. Wooden boards were used to make two chambers with underfloor passive intake for each one (thanks to bumpkinbwoy in the diy kit forum) and cookerhood filter used for light blockage. Flowering chamber(bottom) was 1m high and veg chamber 80cm high. Both chambers were 80cm wide and 70cm deep. Above a shaft continued up through the house to the roof. A hardboard roof to separate cupboard from shaft was made with a 125mm hole for ducting. Both chambers were exhausted by a single 125 rvk fan connected to flue pipe. Veg part was lit by 110w prop lamp and flower part was lit by 1 x 250w hps. Curtains were made for each chamber using black + white sheeting so that there was a gap of about 40cm between chambers and cupboard door which had air vents top and bottom. The cupboard was also very quiet and although it was in my living room it was very stealthy. Many a family party raged nearby with friends and relatives totally unaware of the mini production factory only a few feet away! Sadly, the whole cupboard was removed in the course of some home alterations and i now grow in a tent in the spare room.

Good use of space dude looks like you have managed to eliminate any light leaks as well :)

Hi superbudding

curtains were doubled up B+W for extra rigidity attached to battens either side of the cupboard with velcro strips.
2 layers of cooker hood filter for the intakes seemed to do the trick

I congratulate you - both on your fix and your paranoia. You do well. Long may you grow.
(But actually I was referring to other stealth grow - I had a look at the sub-forum.) ;-)

Thanks mate. I was lucky having the flue pipe in-situ when I built the cupboard. I'm back to growing in a bedroom now and just have the end of the outlet ducting next to the open window. I run inlet ducting from near the door at the other side of the room. This seems to work fine for now.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with

Hi MED

Thanks mate. Yeah I was gutted to take it down. Best little stealth groom I ever had. Was under pressure
from the mrs to have more space in the room. The tent has been good though. Not very stealth unfortunately.
I just tell people the room its in is full of junk and don't let anyone in there

How did you go about getting fresh air in there? Passive intake from holes somewhere? I have a similar setup just struggling to get a nice flow of fresh air in there when the door is closed!
