What an amazing race that was. I am a full advocate of there being a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes rain per race

Really looking forward to Spa tomorrow.

Check out this video of a speed comparison between GT cars and F1 as they pass through the famous Raidillon corner.

Amaz-ing.

Should be a intersting race today, just depends on the weather.
If it rains then Button should find himself near the top of the grid come chequered flag time.

But yesterdays 13th place down to miscommunication is yet another thorn in his side, this is track he has not done well on for the 3 years running.

Saw Senna yesterday. The documentary film. Awesome stuff. Made me quite sad though. Not only cos he kept getting fucked over but because of how much it has changed from when I was a kid. Im thinking I'll find new racing to watch. It ain't really racing anymore is it. It's like watching trains race around a track where only a couple places provide opportuniy to overtake. I used to love F1 growing up. Thing is it was Senna and Mansell era when cars let the drivers do the work. Its a whole other thing now. When a championship becomes less about the driver and all about the car, it ceases to become racing. The only time drivers come out to play anymore is when the rain shows up. Or you get that rare time when the drivers have to make a move. Otherwise it's all auto pilot. Im all up for improving the safety of any sport too. Just not at the cost of the essence of what the sport it about. That senna film reminded me of all this. What most of us grew up with and loves is dead now. Im gonna go look for something similar withouy the politics and money involved in F1. After more than 3/4 of my life following F1. This will be my last year. :(

Yea, i'm thinking that too - mainly spurred by the Sky deal. I just can't watch a half season. I only watched the race on Sunday with no sound - no Practice or Qualifying or build up or anything and it wasn't any where near as good. The 'racing' was thin on the ground. So, without all the bumpf on BBC to support the race hours, what is there? Ahwell, it was a good ride and I've enjoyed it - it'll be a real shame to miss the development of Vettel and Button and to watch Ferrari rebuild. I was also looking forward to seeing the new teams build up over the coming years.

I hear lawnmower racing is fun.

I remember a while ago there was A1 which looked promising. I thought that might be a decent replacement to F1 but it seemed to fizzle out somehow. I want to go back to the turbo days where driver aides were minimal. Or find racing of a similar and exciting nature. F1 fucked for me now though. I think mine is mainly due to the sky deal too. Well. That got me thinking which led to even more reason not to follow it any more. My plan now is to get a decade worth of F1 seasons. Like 70-80-90s. Be nice if I can get seasons to watch that are real old too. We shall see if I can find any.

Mark Webber is on pole after Shuey got a 5 place grid penalty for driving into the back of Bruno Senna in the Spanish GP. I still think Shueys got another win in him yet.

Yes mate, I saw it.

I thought Vettel was a right cnut to steal the win from Webber, particularly if they were under team orders, which they were. Webber has had to yield to Vettel a number of times so it was wrong of Vettel to ignore the orders. I'm no fan of team orders, I think the drivers should be able to sort it out for themselves on the track.

Shame Jenson's team fucked up his pit stop. Looked like he was making progress.

Yeah saw Hamilton doing a Button lol what a plonker.

Good job you didn't still have a key to the old house! People tend to get a bit miffed if they happen to catch you knocking up a bacon buttie and helping yourself to beer, especially 3 in the morning lol

Yes Seb was a naughty boy & a little stupid. He may need Webbers help later in the season. I think Rosberg should have taken Hamilton though instead of asking & whining about it, they were feeding him a load of bull about Hamilton looking after his tyres it was fuel he was saving.

Just my opinion but there shouldn't be team orders, after all it's a fucking race to the flag ffs.

Bloody depressing podium weren't it.

A mate of mine was driving us back to his house a few years ago, only he'd moved a few months earlier but forgotten until I pointed out we were parked outside his old house :headpain:
