Well you never know it might happen, as it is I have had an open bet offered to my friends for years who are convinced its true after watching loads of doomsday vids ( and subjecting other to them) on youtube. The bet, which non of them have yet to take up, is this..I wager everything I own v evrything you own that we will see 2013. These are they same friends mind who would repeat the following story as fact to me years ago (by bill Cooper from his book behold a pale horse)


The spacecraft called Galileo is on its way to Jupiter, a baby star with a gaseous makeup exactly the same as our sun, with a load of 49.7 pounds of plutonium, supposedly being used as batteries to power the craft. When its final orbit decays in December 1999, Galileo will deliver its payload into the center of Jupiter. The unbelievable pressure that will be encountered will cause a reaction exactly as occurs when an atomic bomb is exploded by an implosion detonator. The plutonium will explode in an atomic reaction, lighting the hydrogen and helium atmosphere of Jupiter and resulting in the birth of the star that has already been named Lucifer. The world will interpret it as a sign of tremendous religious significance. It will fulfill prophecy. In reality it is only a demonstration of the insane application of technology by the JASON Society which may or may not even work. They have practiced overkill to ensure success, however, as the documents that I read while in Naval Intelligence stated that Project GALILEO required only five pounds of plutonium to ignite Jupiter and possibly stave off the coming ice age. Global warming is a hoax. It is easier for the public to deal with and will give the ruling elite more time before panic and anarchy replace government.
Simultaneously a vault containing the ancient records of the earth will opened in Egypt. The opening of the vault will usher in the millennium. A great celebration has already been planned by the Millennium Society to take place at the pyramids in Egypt. According to the January 3, 1989, edition of the Arizona Daily Star, "President-elect Bush is spending this New Year's holiday at Camp David, Maryland, but in 10 years he may be in Egypt. Organizers of the Millennium Society say he's already committed to ushering in the next century at the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza.

Now when it didn't happen after much angry denial a new story and date was found, 2012, and my bets been open since then. If 2012 passes with no doomsday just watch how fast a new theory and date are offered up as well as people now telling everyone why that last prediction, which they compleatly belived, was wrong and the new one is true. Reminds me of one of the best selling books in the US in 1988 called, 88 reasons why its 88, which predicted the end of the world in 88, the next year the same guy made another book called 89 reasons its 89, and althoguh it didn't sell as well as the first one people still bought it. Still you never know maybe this time after about 2000 years of failed iminent end of day predictions this one could be true.

I suspect you are absolutely correct, rather than admit they are wrong these folks will just shamelessly come up with a new date and start telling us how the world is really going to end some other time.

Funny how none of your conspiracy friends have the conviction to take you up on your bet, they can't be that convinced the world is going to end then.

Just seen this. One of a series but this particular episode deals with links between the Pyramid maths and the foot and metre. Maybe people grasp at straws hoping for an end, yes, to the way we live our life on this planet. So much suffering and so many arrogant, talentless, worthless twats with excessive amounts of money. Maybe people cling on to the hope of change. I know I do.
