im doing a room with 6 600w mh then 600w son t ive got 5ft t5 doubles veg and flower would it be worth doin two rows of t5 as side lighting right around the room, i have 8 in intake then 10in outtake accoustic fans on controllers, whats the minimum distance plants should be from sidelights

Hey mate
I would suggest PLs over T5s but to cover all around
the room will cost a lot to kit out and run.
If you aim for 50-60w per sq foot from above
then that's ample without side lighting imo.

thanks for the reply what are PLs? the t5s i got are brand new & very cheap & the 600w are on a diffrent supply uv lights used during flowering are said to increase potentcy would bringing a black light into the room help? also has anyone got any blueberry headband on the go i,d love to know off someone

A PL or PLL as they are sometimes called are very efficient bulbs, similar
to T5s
If you Google Philips 55w PL you'll see what they look like.
Or maxbright propagation light.
Adding a black like will do nothing.
UV-B is what is needed during the last couple weeks to increase potency.
Reptile bulbs are one source you could look at.
A MH will give you UV-B also, and with you having so many lights in there you
would be better running some MH and sodiums during the last couple weeks,
rather than all sodiums or adding yet more lights.
