If you have very hard water I cannot see it being not enough cal-mag it's probably more down to poor absorption/lockout

Have you got a local water report?

As far as HW Cal mag, yes one would assume that, but also bear in mind Excess Calcium can cause Mag deff.

HW is measured by the calcium content, there could also be a case for high Cal with low Mag in water source.

Pants, I've just given them some epsom salts.

Apparently , 300ml and over per litre of water, if I am reading the chart from my local water company right.

edit - sorry that is 300 milligrams, but I am not sure.

have you calibrated you ph meter lately bobbert (just a thought, ive had meters swing out by loads over a month or two and wrongly adjusted ph as a result, giving me iffy leaves that looked a little like them)?

or i'd suggest plain old hunger with it being coco just by looking but with knowing nothing about your feeds or ec im not sure.

Thats a possibility , I will check later tonight.
Another thought is that I have been underwatering. I was not getting enough run off and my plants were wilting.Basically what went in stayed in, This may have caused a build up of salts and/or calcium or hot spots in the coco thus the lock out?
