Hey peeps.

I have read a few of Danzigs chocolate threads and read Bartmans Easter egg chocolate thread. I need someone to give me a proper steer on what dosage for me though.

Me and the missus are probably vaping 2 grams per day between us. I don't like getting too twatted and I want to make some chocolates with a low dose of herb. Ideally I want one chocolate to give me the same effect as my vaped gram.

Any advice on best way to administer just the right dose given what I vape in a day? I just want a mellow high, ideally it might take 2 chocolates to get the desired effect over time if that makes sense.

One other thing too, in a stoned state I put a large bud into a fine bottle of olive oil the other night. I have left it out of sunlight in a coolish place. Now I know it needs to be heated in order to decarboxylate or whatever but would nothing happen if I left it for ages? Would I heat it up in a pan of water?

Hope someone can help on these two things.

Thank you

Martin

I reckon 0.3gs per serving would be a good start mate, i love eating it, it`s a lot more relaxing imo

I like .75 per serving max and that`s about right but i`ve been eating it for over a year now :stoned:

So I'm assuming that as long as you grind the herb fine, if you put say 4 grams and made a 16 square chocolate bar, would each piece be almost identical and give you .25 gram hit?

Yes mate, just melt the choccy, mix in the well ground herb and leave for a few mins, not too long, and i find all the chocs i make are equal in strength, i add a few bran flakes to disguise the texture of the herb, adding dry fruit is nice also. Only use dark chocolate at 70% cocao min

Nice one dude. I got the moulds and coffee grinder so I am gonna get cracking on it.

Nice idea on the bran flakes, ill try that. I guess ground up porridge would do the same thing, I got porridge in so Ill use that.

Anyone got any idea on the olive oil thing?

Ive done the olive oil mate but i left it on a for radiator months shaking few times a week. You would be quicker pouring it into a saucepan and put it on a low heat for a while then pour it back into your bottle
All I have is a piece of hard rock candy. But it's not for eatin'. It's just for lookin' through.

Cannabis tincture and cannabis oil

Quote

Cannabis oil:
Take some dried cannabis, reduce it to very small pieces, and add edible oil (e.g. olive oil) so that the plant material is completely covered with the oil. Keep it in a dark and cool place for about 3 weeks. Shake it a little every day. Filter it using a sieve or by using coffee filter papers. You may use this oil for internal and external application.

I've not yet made any but I have read (again in the Medi-Canna section iirc) that heat speeds up the process significantly. Could well be later in that thread ??
