As title, getting a new hoose wired up soon, just wondering if there is anything special I should ask the sparky for in the area that will eventually be my growspace.
(appart from extra sockets!)
I dont think I'll ever be running more than 2X600w, probably just one mostly.
Just wondered if there are any major do's and donts or "slaphead hindsight moments" - why didnt I think of that when the sparky was round.

There'll always be something and you'll think, 'I shoulda done that'
you could tell the sparks that your hobby will be/is Tropical fish
- so mixing water and leccy is one thing, higher rating on fusing maybe, ask his advice. Good luck with the new set up Freda

Tell him you may eventually turn it into a wet room/ shower /bath room if possible and get him to fit an extraction fan ;-) then the hard part is done for you
just ignore the door, if its important enough they will let themselves in!

You could ask for a dedicated supply to the area with its own trip in the new consumer unit, rather than extend a ring main or adding spurs. This way if anything does pop in the growroom its less likely to affect the rest of the house.
