I just wanted to no what sort of yields per sq ft are achievable and what you get then ppl could work out what space they would need for the amount of bud they need and it would make me be able to see what would be the max light for a small space and still be worth the runing cost

Within reason it is down to watts .

A 250 watt HPS would work nicely in there - with good ventilation there are people here who can get 250 grammes - or 62.5g per square foot if you prefer. - that's a gramme per watt which most people struggle to get from more efficient lamps ...

Ventilation is key - you want to almost emulate a wind tunnel in such a confined space.

I've been very negligent in that respect, but I haven't had less than half that most of the time I've been growing ...

I guess if you have 400w and you can get a gram per watt then your DR60 has 4 sq foot which means an optimum of 100g per sq ft.

It's the gram per watt thing again. Regardless how many sq feet you have the light and environment dictate the yield. The yield per sq ft is relative to the watts per sq ft.

The floorspace obviously partly dictates the yield. If you had a 600w lamp in a 1sq ft growspace (I know you wouldn't!), then there is no way you'll get 600g from that space!

no, it's not, there's something called diminishing returns....

i.e. more light only equals more bud up to a certain point, there's not a chance in hell anyones going to be pulling 100grams from a square foot unless they've got a good co2 dosing setup.

i grew with a 400w in approx 4 square feet, and my best yields were around the 2.25 Oz per foot i.e 9ish Oz from my 400w, never managed 250g from a 250watter in the same growcab

with co2 i could get around 15 Oz with a perfect grow, (well actually that was about the yield from my best grow from that space) usually got around 12-13
