I,ve 12-14 days to chop, on my previos grows i've used ripen at this stage, and it doe's seem to push that last bit into the bud, I've been on pm nutes this time, can i cut the nutes and use ripen or is there a similar product in the PM range?

I was talking with one of the PM guys today and he say's they are relesing a bloom boost type product soon. They are currently product testing it. :guitar:
Not much good for you with your time scale, unless, you could chance your luck and email PM and offer to use a trial and give feedback on the boost. :yinyang:

Their flush is the same thing, just more appropriately named.

Time ripens, not the Flushing agent.

:yinyang:

E2a I've just flushed a large tent using a litre bottle of the PM stuff as opposed to using Owds method of slowly decreasing the bloom element. I did owderbs method till the minus 10 days time but then flipped over to the flush. It seems to have gone well, but we all know its in the smoke!

They've yellowed after a few days on water at the end as expected, and it's kept the 20 different seeds/phenos happy enough til the water stage!

IIRC ripen is just a p/k boost product, you could use any pk booster with similar effect i would imagine.

Ripen claims to have an agent that stresses the plant very slightly, so producing more "aromatic oils". I have used Ripen in the past for Outdoor girls that start getting a bit mouldy towards the end- but I actually use a flush product after using Ripen, as Ripen is banged out with P & K.

Although GH say that any further flushing is not required, I choose to use Ripen a week or so before the end and then water once or twice with Canna flush or the equivalent. I won't use plain water after Ripen as the margin of time before using Ripen and the chop is quite small- the buds will go past their prime because of this stressing agent- it takes too long to flush all that P&K out with just water.

Ideally I don't use the stuff at all, it's only for bringing things on that are in danger of going tits up, in my book.

It is not a weak grow formula, the npk is 0-6-5 IIRC.
If anything it is more like a pk boost.
It claims to speed up and enhance the ripening process and strip the plant of micronutients and nitrates resulting in a better taste.

I thought that adding some grow and cutting back on bloom altered the total NPK values to be higher in K and lower in P, with a little more N as a consequence. Obviously it depends on which nutes are used.
