It's not too hard for a beginner ffs.

Making the best of your grows will come with actual experience, go for it, get out there, need to start somewhere!

Do your homework before you start because all the questions you've asked and prob will ask have already been answered, just need some time to sift thru it all..!

Tom you dont need light for germing lol ! Get loads of cotton wool, line a small box, tupperware, whatever with some cotton wool. Soak it til its nicely damp. Place your seeds spaced out nicely in the damp cotton wool. Layer more damp cotton wool over the top of the seeds. Replace the lid lightly, leave it so air gets in. Put it in the dark somewhere, I use the airing cupboard. Check them after a couple of days, if nothing, damp it some more. Wait til you have a nice big shoot sprouting out, then get planting.

or why no just stick them in small pots mud under some fluros or t5s or cfls and keep them nice and warm dont need none that cotton wool or paper towel shite. :yinyang:
