Hi all,

Ive got my mum box up and running with 2 seedlings in it, jamacian dream (fem) and cheese quake (hoping it will be a girl), they are about 6 days old (from sprouting).

Attached Image

Inside temperature is between 18-24 deg. Im getting a tube heater to replace the fan heater this week which i will hook up to a thermostat.

The res is 20 litres but im having trouble with PH rising slowly, im thinking a bigger reservoir would aleviate this. Theres also a air stone in there and a heater which is keeping the water at 20 deg.

Lights are on 18/6 and the plants are drip fed 3 times a day for 15 min. Once at 6am (lights on), once at 2pm and once about 10pm. Any run off drains back to the tank. Im also using general Hydraponics 3part and feeding as described in the chart.
TDS is 400ish but i plan to up the feeding schedule tommorow which is 1 week in.

So the question is - am i feeding enough, is 3 times a day for 15min ok? And would it be benificial to run the lights 24/7 and feed more often?

The stage there at they only need fed by hand. When they get to 2/3 weeks old in they sized cubes they,ll need soaked twice a day. What are you finishing them in ?. It,s worth getting some plastic and making some 4"squares to keep the tops from going green with algae they also come precut 50 packs. CR
Also i don,t know who,s who and what,s what with nutes, but the 1st ever nute,s i used was ghe and i had to correct the p.h daily "nothing but hassle". I changed to 1 part ionic and BINGO! stable p.h regardless of volume "even 1 ltr" and great results aswell. atb CR

I used to run slightly different to joint hogger and run my dripers at 3 times, 15 mins at lights on, 15 mins at lights off and a 15 minute feed half way through their day cycle..

At the stage yours are at the moment then I wouldn't bother drip feeding yet but instead just soak the blocks once a day..

So im probably getting ahead of my self here, too eager for them to grow its like watching paint dry at the moment :P i just need to make sure the rock wool dosnt dry out. They are gonna be transplanted to pots with clay pebble at some point, would you say 3 weeks ish? also gonna cut some mylar squares and pop em on top.
PH does seem to be a daily problem, but im stuck with it until i use up the 1litre bottles.

Yes budy a little lol, yes hand feed just now you,ll soon notice the difrence once they get established then once repoted you,ll need to move on to x amount per hour/day you,ll soon get the hang of what,s needed by the plant. mylar is great for reflecting not so good for lids it has a habbit of turning the edges up, b.w is reuseable and re writeable and stays flat. atb CR

He's probably looking for the private airfield..lol

Eyes in the sky if you believe the bollocks that they can see small grows through walls are always in helicopters AFAIK..

Also considering that almost every indoor grower has their main lights on at night then sending them up during the day would be a bit pointless..

It is propaganda bullshit crack on I say..:yep:

TBF if you are this para already then growing maybe isn't for you although what is it you think they can see from their eye in the sky..?

Also it is not a disaster buying from E-bay it just isn't as stealth as it could be but rest assured nothing you bought was illegal..:)
