Hey Sirbongalot,
Your NL could be one of those plants, it could also be an NL that takes longer than you would think it should to mature. Or....
I don't remember the breeder but my first NL seeds came from Emory in Canada. Out of the 10 seeds 1 plant when started flowering never stopped no matter what the light cycle. Tried to clone it and it was having none of that since even the clones started flowering while rooting under 24 hous of light. Guess I had an auto before they were made for selling. I'm not saying you have something like this just letting you know that you can end up with a lot of different characteristics from the same strain.
When I first started growing I had no access to seeds like now.My first grows were done with plants I found hunting thru bag seeds for the most part. I learned early that if a plant is taking to long to finish that shortening the light cycle can help a lot with some.
If you feel the plant is taking to long and that you might have a constant “top flowerer” that won’t cooperate cut off it’’s light privileges. Leave it in the dark at least a couple of hours longer. If you’re sure the plant is done other than the new top growth you can leave it in the dark 24 hours for a few days or more as well.
Make it cooperate, you’re mother nature, wield your power ;-)
