What size and best intake fan?

I have a DR120 tent and i'm looking into adding a intake fan. Last grow I got away with taking one of the side panels off the tent to use it as a passive intake. But for the next grow I want things to be alot better.
So I have a DR120 and a 6" Ruck for extraction. I also have a SMS twin fan controller. Can I get away with just a TT fan? Or should I invest in a 4" Ruck?
BTW I extract out of the tent and into another room.
Thanks.

Is that a 6" ruck high or low power? I would be tempted to go for a 5" either high or low to match your extractor fan.
I would definitely invest in a ruck, considering it will be running 24/7 for the length of your grow / indefinitely.
Does your sms have a control for negative pressure? if it does that would make up my mind on a 5".

I'm in agreeance with Sickleaf. If it's a high power 6 inch then get a low power 5 inch at the minimum. Like you I run a DR120, and I've got a 6 inch high power ruck for extraction and a 5 inch high power ruck for intake and I could easily get away with the standard 5 inch i reckon. They are both wired to the same STR Transformer and don't leave the first setting out of five, so you should be fine as the the sms will maintain neg pressure for you.
I will say though, that the sms will cause your rucks to buzz rather loudly. I had one and its now in retirement for this reason, and the str transformer has taken the limelight.

Hey, thanks for the replys guys! Very helpfull.
My 6" Ruck is the low powered one (470m3/hour). So I should get a low power 5" Ruck (295m3/hour)?
Thanks!

Found a RVK A1 fan 100mm, 175m3/hour. Think this will be ok? My extraction is 6" 470m3/hour. I need to save up more money,

Bugger me, cannabis might grow in Jamaica, but it doesn't need a hurricane to flourish!
I'm extracting a 1.2m2 tent (with a 600w HPS) using a 250m3/h 5" fan. Except the fan also sucks out a 0.8m2 cabinet, and two CFs. The whole thing is on a variac, running about 66%, and temperatures aren't topping 30C. Passive ventilation all the way - knotted tubes of flexible ducting make excellent light tight air intake vents through the lower ducts; the passive panels are too crappy and leak light.

A quarter pound of ishen is a dollar ten cent, I get so high I can't pay my rent.
