Better just add I grew Easy Sativa LAST year from '09 and '10 release seedstock, havent grown it this season.

It was the amazing results from the Easy sats (as you say in another thread quite rightly, ESP from Iamafunkimunki) that got so many people growing it out this year. It is a lovely plant still inane ways except it is considerably later flowering now. Not at all resembling a 'semi auto' is all. It is Oct 10 th now and I have 45 plants that's still need weeks to finish and are starting to show bits of rot....

my outdoor grapefruit started flowering end of july &still isnt finished!she smells fuckn gorgeous though! :guitar:

My grapefruit looks more developed than the other 5 different reg fems.. reg fems wtf! so I can see the semi auto in her and she smells lovely even so early on.

Yeah i want to say the same ! They where not early(even when i germinated them in mid to late April ?) and they wherent even half ready when they died in late October, one single frost and they had left the building ! But the Purple Maroc´s where much better and began flowering before end of July and did finish properly, and i have to say that i really liked them. Gonna use the ones i have left in some crosses. But the half ready Easy Sativas where good too, but not even close to finish ? I wonder what they meant in the description that the most of them flower under 18 h of light ? ? ?

Possibly nearly as frustrating as the flower times are the long response times to this thread from the Femaleseeds team :headpain:

Probably a case of hoping this thread will just go away if left long enough, without any embarassing admissions required. God forbid any breeder should have to apologise to a mere grower. Even if that grower is voicing the experience of a number of confused 2011 customers.

I hope they are not Gnomophobic

Us Gnomes are approachable you know.

This year I will still run a smaller lot of the Easy's despite all this nonsense. Because they still worked out pretty well (thank you October 2011). However I am now seeking a new 'backbone' strain for the main part. One which actually does what it says in the blurb.

If djay or whoever had responded with some reasoning and said that they were solving this it might have been different. Lack of transparency reduces trust in a breeders integrity for me.

Still, these are reasonably priced fems if you are prepared to take some autumnal risks, but be warned. These packs of seeds are possibly heading towards becoming (in the words of a fellow guerilla) "mere souvenirs'"........

Fwiw Loam I seem to remember DJ posting ages ago saying he has some personal issues and wouldn't be about hardly at all, and I don't think he has posted since then. Also afaik he wasn't part of the Female Seeds team per se, just helping them out here.

It doesn't explain why someone directly from Female seeds hasn't popped in though

I think we are talking about easy sativa not pm. The pms did ok or i thought that was the general vibe.

Did anyone have luck with easy sativa as i am sure farmer boy and a few others rate these as late finishes but with good mold resistance.

I have 2 for this year....

Would be good to hear from FS, if same parents etc.

Ello folks.

Yep i remember Djay saying something about having some issues.

Elephant face. My Easy's averaged about 2 Oz a piece in semi open plots. Really high and tasty smoke, with high calyx/leaf ratio and nice density. Can be quite an edgy high though ime. Mould resistance was average and with the late finish was very much at the whim of the autumn weather. Lost 10-20 % in total.

Djay is now back around this forum and left a message in the thread at the top.Hope he is feeling better.

With regards the easy sats.Last years seeds did not seem to be as good as previous years .Mine were very late and some did not finish but they went out late.No probs with mould and the buds were nice and chunky.

I wont grow them again though.Purple maroc yes and i will try the Maroc to.

I was lucky enough to get 10 packs of 2009? Easy Sativa and some packs of the spring 2010 release,I grew them all out 2010 and had a very good year indeed :guitar: I still have some 2010's in the fridge and a number of packs of Purple Marocs,I think femaleseeds.nl are correctly priced and they gave me a very good 2010 crop, cant think of anything negative to add  Hope DJ is feeling better?
