80cm parabolic reflector Rate Topic: -----

Hello all,can a 600w be used with the 80cm parabolic reflector or would it have to be the larger version ?

It can be used yes, I have the 80cm and 100cm, Both from greens and they both say max 1000w on them.

Thanks for clearing that up for me cocogrower and ratdog,I already have the 80cm version so saves me buying the 100cm version as this is going to be my last run with the 600w as im downsizing tent and lamp next time,cheers.

sorry to hijack, but, Does anyone know the rough depth of the parabolics? i have only got 1.2m head height and need to know if i can squeeze it in above my net or whether i'm going to have to get cooltubes, cheers for any advice,

You lose around 30-40 cm. In a 1.2m space it would be very very tight.

they both sat 1000w as they both use the same boody/baseplate/cable there is no reason why you couldnt run a 600w/1000w in there the only problem would be the light spred
