Hi everyone am looking for assistance again :) have been hearing abit about sticking molasses in my feeds but I really don't know about timings or how often! Is it worth it? Does it taint the weed? One friend said u use it as a flushing solution but he's a story teller lol. Any guidance will be great fully received.

Thanks

PM Oldtimer is molasses based mate. That alone should be enough, and you're supposed to feed it until harvest.

The worst fert burn/taste wise is phosphorus - is why some people use grow nutes or a flushing solution. N is not needed at that point, (too much) P is certainly not wanted, but potassium is needed. Molasses has little N, no phosphorus and a nice amount of potassium, so the idea of flushing with it is sound.

This whole flushing this is way more important for chemical ferts though, even with the added phosphorus uptake from granules/mycorrhiza the plants should never be "force fed". You can always find people who prefer their certain way, but I believe the consensus here in this forum is no starvation/flushing - feed till the end. Or at least very near the end..

Thanks, great work, I currently have 6 plants so I think I will try the three and see what I get flavour wise, 2 with a weeks water, 2 feeding up till the end and 2 flushed with molasses.

Whatever happens ......none of it will go to waste. :D

I use bio bizz g and b just now, that's organic so would u say no flush required? Just thought about it no point 4 being different, damn physchosis pickling my brain llf

Should probably ask in the organic forum instead of the Plant Magic forum :)

No flush needed, here's oldtimer1s bio-bizz guide (stickied in the organic forum).

Never knew PM oldtimer was molasses based. I have no need to invest in molasses then.

its always good to have some laying around to experiment with

you'll need some if you use/spray with essence to. (if you dont buy the whole shebang together)

The lethal dose ratio (LD-50) for cannabis is estimated to be around 1:20,000 to 1:40,000 which means you have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much cannabis as is contained in one cannabis joint to induce death. This means you would have to consume something like 1,500 lbs in 15 minutes to induce a lethal response. There are no known fatalities from the substance and it is considered non- toxic...
