hey all. another question so i can prepare myself for harvest time.
i have no way of drying my harvested buds (if any) so i was wondering how i can dry my buds on site?
is there some sort of box i can knock up to dry them in and if so what sort of ventilation will i need?
i know they need to be in the dark as to not burn away the thc and not dried to quick as to ruin them and not to slow that they contract mould. would hate to work my ass off this summer and ruin my stash at the most important time.

any feedback from u knowledgable lot would be awesome

You could rig up a cammoed tent and run a couple of caravan dehumidifiers off a car battery maybe , bit dodge but if needs must .

ah yeah, seems like alot of hard work lol. cheers tho grow brother
was thinking a large cardboard box stood up with the lid on the side, make sure the lid stays open slightly but put some fine mesh over the opening to stop bugs getting in and hang the nuggets in there. make sure the openin is by open to wind and air for ventilation.
thought about askin a mate but i dont know if i can trust anyone to leave it alone and i dont want to give any out if i can help it. im a greedy prick lol. i had to earn it so why should i???

Couldn't you just rig up a tarp in a upside down V shape and run sting across to hang the buds from. I did some like this last year in September and it worked great but after that it starts to get cold and you will be really risking it with mold. And you might get a better response from fellow outdoor growers if you post in the guerrilla section.

Greenhouses are typically warm and moist, I don't think it would dry very well in there.

But if you put it in a big sealed bag after trimming it all up with some paper towels or something else to draw out the moisture, could that not work?

I wouldn't try this until someone with more experience confirms it, as it's just a theory.

Ive been pondering the same thing. My plan is to get a large cardboard box, multipacks of crisps get delivered to shops in boxes that are roughly 0.5m H/W/L, cut holes/vents on on opposite sides and get some string tied in. I'm going to use a fan on the outside of one the vented ends facing/blowing away from the box, into the room, so that it pulls the old air out of the box and gently replace it with fresh air. Its just an idea and i will report back on its success or failure.

Hope you can sort your own place out :smokin:

if you have access to a green house put a few parafin heater s and a fan in there to circulate the air and youre laughing
the late autumn allowed me to dry the whole crop (it was a fuck of a lot) under camo tarps in keep nets on a hillside with the air blowin through drying them
