Auto's on cocco..... help/advice/info needed all the way people Rate Topic: -----

I'm starting a run of auto's for the first time in the next few day's, just out of curiosity and to get some quick smoke before my 'proper' harvest. I decided to start this thread to see what peoples thoughts are and to try and get as much info as possible as I have only ever grew 'normal' photo. plants. I will be growing them in Canna cocco pro+ using full canna nutes. I have started a diary and will try to keep it as up to date with as many pic's as possible.

A few basic questions to start with....

* How does growing autos differ to growing normal plant's? (if at all and except the obvious photoperiod etc.)
* "It is better to put them straight in their final pot's" ?!?!
* What pot size should I use? - 6L? 10?
* What about air pot's?
* "Only require light feeding regardless of strain"?!?!? - Is that true?
* Photoperiod to use? - 18/6? 20/4? does it depend on the strain?is it best to finish with 12/12 for last 2 weeks?
* Anybody got info/advice specifically for growing Autos on Cocco or using canna nutes?
*Is it true that not all autos flower automatically?

Sorry about all the questions, I have done a bit of searching and asking about. I recieved some bad advice and some good, so thought I'd get on uk420 and sort it once and for all!

hi blaze, I'm to starting a auto grow and I had a good read of serpents guide to autos, then go from there. I will be using 7 and a half litre pots plantmagic soil and grow and bloom nutes will be starting in seedling pots for a week until rooted out then put them in there final pots, light schedule will be 24/0 first week or 2, then 18/6 till finish, very light feeding as they are autos. yeah I have read that some don't auto but I will go for sweet seeds as they seem to be the leaders in autos. any way check out serpents guide reading his info has made me do autos now you can pull 2 Oz average. same reason as you m8 fill my jars up before starting a photoperiod strain. :guitar:

Yeah I seen serpents guide about 10 mins after posting this doh!:headpain: - It's really good.
Doesn't answer all my questions though :wallbash:
I appreciate different people having diferrent opinions but the problem I'm having is with people giving me conflicting info.
I learn more by doing anyway So I think I'm going to just dive in at the deep end and see how I go. I'm sure my friends on uk420 will help me as I gro....

I'm doing a multi-srain grow so it should be hectic but looking forward to a load of different and tasty smoke at the end of it all. :wassnnme:
Auto strains I'm running are 3 sweet seeds cream caramel(seems to be highly rated on here) and a barney's farm blue mammoth auto freebie from attitude (from tommorrows 420 offer :guitar: ) as well as my photo. plants (5 skunk#1, 1 pineapple chunk, 1 critical kush, 1 swazi and 1 durban poison). Im thinking 6.5L air pots for the auto's....

that's right m8, some times less you know is better, you can learn as you grow. I think it's a must cream caramel defo loads of info on here for help and speed devil, jack 47 I know there is more from sweet seeds can't remember right now. :headpain:
