I'm so excited as my 2 Diesel plants are just about ready to come down!

They are at 9 weeks & 3 days & i think they need a few more days. They looked to have 75% brown pistils last week, but then the top of the buds had a spurt of new growth with loads of new, white pistils so i decided to leave them.
I bought a 420 scope yesterday & i can see 1 or 2 amber glands, but i still have a few clear 1's with most of them cloudy.
I did have one problem at the weekend when i saw that i had a bit of bud rot on one of the buds on 1 of the plants, so that branch was cut off & taken out the tent straight away. I have since taken all the plants out of the tent (2x Diesel, 2x Dame Blanch, 1x Red Rooster Kush, 1x Swiss Cheese) & given them the once over in the bathroom where i could inspect every square inch of each plant without a 600watt light a foot from my face!
The 2 plants came from seed, but have looked identical from the start, they look like they could have come as clones.

Unlucky with the budrot , but sounds like its under control and not long to go .

Reading that write up & seeing no pics is like saying to your mates "You should of seen this bird last night , she was fookin gorgeous & she had a fur burger in the shape of a dolphin" no-one believes you til you get the pictures out

You should harvest them i recon.
A few amber glands is the key, the milky phase comes most after the amber, usually there are only a few amber trichomes.

Amber is later in the milky stage, more Amber means less high more stoned.

no worries amsterdammer mate , i have the Sour Diesel clone which i am workin a little "breeding" ( and i use the word loosely ) project , have some cannalope haze x ecsd males i am flowering and will be pollinateing the SD clone in about 15 days time , will be lookin for a stand out male to do some more inbreeding with it to get a SD in seed form , just somethin i wanna try but def gonna pop one or two of these diesels in the new year mate , as and when il get a diary up in this section of uk420 , stay cool mate...

Plant 2 is my fav, they both looked the same from seed to almost the end of flowering. I have a 3rd Diesel that look different to them both growing somewhere else. Both these plants were chopped at 9 weeks & 5 days.

Nice one psycho , whats the stone and that like at 9 & half weeks ? Would you in next time leave it longer , same again? Looks like their good yielders too nicely grown bud .

Cheers Poppa! Not tried it yest as its still drying! We did have 1 small branch that we took off a week early due to a bit off budrot & that tasted amazing, but not going judge it yet.
I think i would take it down at the same time when i grow it again. I was seeing amber glands & over 90% brown hairs.
Will post details of yeild & a smoke report as soon as i can.

I must be ding something right if Seedism want to use them!
Glad i took cutting too as one of the plants tastes of NYCD & the other of Sour Diesel. Plus i bought a set of BubbleBags today so i will be putting pics (& a how to make vide) up as soon as its done over the weekend.

(BTW what part of the site tells you how to post reduced sized photos in replys you cling on to enlarge? couldt work it out before so i made an album insted)
