Hi Ive got 10 fem blueberry coming tomorrow but don't know the way to go with them .

Ive got a heated propagator and 1" rock wool. I wont to put them in my TWIN AMAZON AEROPONIC but first to be build them up in my x-stream.

Go rockwool, then into your amazon when you have a decent amount of roots showing, clay pebbles in the bottom of the basket, rockwool, pebbles around the side and top. The x-streams great for cuttings.

Hi I use an amazon along with a few other systems, your using a twin tank, how many holes?, the amazon along with the x-stream like I said is great for cuttings, you can go from seeds, like I said use rockwool, or you could even use the really small growden cubes instead of the pebbles but make sure the roots are starting to drop through the baskets, takes 2/3 weeks, then into your system with weak nuits.

The amazon system is great for fast growth, the problem with it is space, I only normally plant out 16 and select the 10 strongest, I flip to 12 around 2/2 1/2 weeks, you need to keep on top of the jets they do block quite often, the system runs 24/7

SBS Grodan Rockwool Propagation Cubes 36mm and pebbles is what ive got already. i cant whit to tomorrow when they come! its my first grow ive got 16 large hole amazon by the why.

so if ive got it right just use my normal heated propagator with just rockwool Cubes 36mm for 2/3 weeks and skip x-stream and put them in amazon on 24/7 with weak nuts :yinyang:

Thats all I do with seeds, works for me, like I said check the jets, make sure you keep you filter clean, I drain and change the tank every couple of weeks, 10 plants will empty the tank in around 4/5 days when they get going,
good luck

First thing to do is read read and read some more,
I would follow through some grows on here and look at germinating in the faqs/other peoples grows.
Resist the urge to tinker with the babys until they have a good rootsytem and at least two true sets of leaves apart from uppotting them as the roots start to escape the sides of the medium.
Rockwool likes to be damp not piss wet through all that does is remove the space for air in there. Many reccomend just dipping the corner into a weak nute mix and then squeezing any excess moisture out.
Get a ppm meter and a ph meter.
Don't nute too soon,
Don't be scared of waiting and doing nothing for a few days.
Make sure the cubes don't dry out in a heated propogator.
The only thing you can grow in a rush is shit bush.
If money makes the world go round then stop the world I want to get off.

Hi Michael, im sorry if I haven't made myself clear, but I never put seeds in rockwool into the x-stream, the x-stream is meant for clones/cuttings not seeds.

I put seeds into rockwool, when the roots drop through the cube and get to a decent lenght(about 2/3 weeks, I put them into the amazon baskets with pebbles then into the amazon system.

I would be tempted to take them out of the x-treme and once they have popped up get them under a vegin light, stop those blocks getting to soggy
