It`s not all about the smoke..

This is going to be a journal documenting my week long trip to Amsterdam with day to day updates...
But as the title says, It`s not all about the smoke and I`ll be also updating on other stuff I do whilst I`m there and hopefully make an interesting journal for whoever wants to read it.

I already plan on visiting the following coffeeshops and will try to report on each with photos.

Grey area
Greenhouse
Dampkring
Rokerij
Bulldog

Any more suggestions are welcome.



Day 1, 29th August.

Get up at 4 am roll a nerve calming joint (I haven`t flown since i was a kid) and smoke it while i`m checking my luggage...Everything is in order, so I make my way to the train station,I stop off at the cash machine for a few more quid to change to euros when i get to the airport... a 15 minute walk... then a 10 minute train ride to the airport.

I have to book in by 6:25 and the plane leaves at 7:25 go to check in register, then outside for a cigarette, hopefully one of my last!.. I finish the smoke then find the lounge for a cold drink before I fly...then on to the plane and 40 mins later land at Amsterdam Schiphol airport.

Land at Schiphol and look around for the bus to the campsite im staying at amsterdamse bos (in a 2 bed cabin) just a 20 minute bus ride from amsterdam and only 32 euros a night..27 in low season :)

ill update later with some pics after i have been into amsterdam for my first dutch smoke in 22 years :yep:

blues brothers is a nice lil pad used to work there to :) i can recomend the milkshakes as long as you have a hour or 4 spare to sit about doing fuck all else lol

Hi Weedmonsta,

If you want to try a Dutch verdamper vaporizer then head down to Anyday's coffeeshop on Spui Straat, it's towards the upper end of the street near where the small red light area is at Korte Korsjespoortsteeg. I had some excellent first grade Asian hash there some years back, I think it was top quality Afghan Hash or possibly Kashmir hash, never seen nothing like it before or afterwards a particularly special piece of hash, much different to the lower grade Afghan knocking around.
IIRC the silver bubble weed from the Grey Area was the best of the trip last time, you might want to give that a look. If your after ice hash then go to Haarlem and check out any of the Willie Wortels coffeeshops, Birdy's in Haarlem also do some nice bits and bobs.

Have a good time dude. Check out Club Media, down Vondelpark way. It had a really nice selection whe I was there last September, everything is 100% organic too.

Have a good trip Weedmonster, must admit I've never been. I've always wanted to but life got in the way & I kept putting it off. Looking forward to reading about your adventures over the next week.
