Hmmm, last lot I put in flower I added a sprinkle of trichoderma spores in each pot....wish I'd left a couple without as a control now :yep:

Anyway, they all look healthy and bettter than usual, much stronger stems, good lush growth, far far fewer incidences of LSF so am using a lot less essence, it's all good.....

So, can I improve on this by adding rockdust, I hear the trichoderma allows the plants to take up more minerals through the increased rootmass, and rockdust will provide great number of minerals to make available to the plant. :)

My Questions....

1. Is trichoderma really effective in Coco? Or is it something else causing my plants to be more vigorous?
2. Will rockdust be beneficial in Coco?
3. Should I use regular maxicrop to feed any herd, or will the trichoderma be colonising the plant and the roots, rather than the "herd", or lack of, in Coco.

Thanks.

I just had this exact same conversation with someone :blub:

They said their attempt to keep a viable herd in Coco was a failure. Rockdust and granules were applied as well as, I think, trichoderma. Didn't get much more than that other than they didn't think it was possible :yinyang:

Personally, I think it just hinges on the feed....surely. Chemical salts being a no no. I don't know what's on the market Coco feed wise ;)

Other than that I'm clueless! lol

bumpety bump.

why are the companies even bothering to add trichoderma if it doesn't really last or work with chem nutes? how long does the microherd live for roughly?
