Strain dependant really, but it is a light mix and I generally start using a light amount 0,5-1,5ml of Fishmix a few days after pot on. Some growers don't though so like a lot of these things you gotta listen to your ladies. I have some White Widows a week in flower that look hungry in it yet my C3s and Tahoe OGs look a lovely shade of green. Well happy with their compost... :hippy:

My little killers are in it and are very happy dude. No nutes as yet, and i cant see them needing any.

I reckon they wont need any till bloom at this rate. Maybe a little when they are in finals. My Dinafems seemed a little hungrier, but they've been Vegging for 9-10 weeks so obviously they needed an hand there.

But less is more Davie B. and concentrating getting a good root system and then potting on asap is better than leaving the plant in any one pot for too long and having to feed nutes as a result.

Rattling them through to their finals then giving a little in them after the flip but before you start the Bloom is my plan from now on.

The soil is a different class mate and as far as i can see so far, trouble free and very reliable.

I must admit I struggled a bit to keep on top of certain strains needing a light feed and others not in a multi strain veg using PM compost, so I switched back to a multi purpose..:)

Only because I am not used to feeding through veg mate and when I used PM compost some needed feeding between pot ups and some didn't which just added to my task load.. I am after all a lazy gardener so I switched back to multi purpose..

Different strains mate.. It is the only thing I have against PM compost is that it is a light mix because in all other respects it is perfect..

E2a If you are planing on growing one strain at a time it will be a lot easier to keep on top of but I would recommend getting a small bottle of grow just in case..

Hi David Blah,

My current grow is six vars of sweet seeds in pm, they went through veg on just bio-silicon and root stim as feed and looked fab all the way, but all have showed various liitle defs in flower, i have wondered if feeding grow through veg may have helped with that. The all green poison grow that went before had feed all through veg and showed no defs, growing multistrains has turned out to be a challenge

By far the best compost about mate, my localish grow shop can't keep it on the shelf.

Yes you probably will need to feed the full time but like has been said its really strain dependant, I've had some that were fine with just water for the first couple of weeks but then I've had others that need feeding right away.

Depends if its cuttings or seedlings to, seedlings won't need anything for a couple of weeks for sure but some cuttings may want fed straight away.

Oh and a little advice on feeding different plants with different levels of grow, say you have 4 plants that need 2 litres each so you need 8 litres of water at a time, if one only needs a light feed at say 1ml per litre then add your 8ml of feed to your 8 litres of water and feed the first plant with its 2 litre, then do the next lightest feeding plant that for instance we'll say needs 2ml per litre, so all you do is add 6ml of feed to the remaining 6 litres of water which of course just gives you 2ml per litre as theres already 1ml per litre in there and then so on till your done.

Its common sense really but I've seen a lot of people making up separate batches of feed and that which is just hassle, I personally don't mind feeding them in veg.
