ey up lads, i wondered if any of you can help me with my lads r4 card?
the card has stopped working in his DSI? Do you think the firmware needs updating? Its been on for a long time so it probably does.
i don't know how to upload it if i get it as a chap used to do it for us?
Can any one guide me in the right direction as where to get the new firmware from and how to install it?
cheers lads!!

My R4 has done the same thing BUT I tried to update it and it has now been blocked. My mate said (who sold me the card) he simply reset the DSI date to an earlier year and that solved the problem but now i have used updates that wont work. Not sure if he was bullshitting or not!
I have spent hours uploading new software but the bloody thing wont worK!

If you google 'R4 firmware update DSI' there is a you tube video that might help?
Hope you get it fixed.

I know very little, but got my son's R4 working again by deleting some files on the card - maybe the game files (sorry, I can't remember), but something that was created by the R4 after installation. I figured if it worked once, and the firmware was the same, it was something on the card causing the problem.
e2a. delete double post
e2a again - we did reset the date for one problem, just remembered.

Put the card in a reader and see what files have been created since installation, then copy them and delete them one by one (if you are cautious) or the whole lot and see what happens...add them back in one by one if you need to.
