Not used peat pellets into rockwool before mate, but sure i've seen pics where people do it...

I have done 3 inch pots of compost into clay pebbles before though.. and that was fine. :)

Good luck!

just put the pellets straight into nft as soon as the roots start poking out . in a day or three you'll have roots busting out everywhere :)

yep, thats exactly what one of my mates does and it works fine for him, id say it was better to house the pellet in some rockwool so no stray bits can get into your system or pump

don't try to do anything too complicated and you'll be fine ...and do plenty of reading .there's some very sensible advice hereabouts :)

i personally use peat pellets for all my cuttings and seeds, once the peat pellets are rooted out quite well, i then transplant them onve to 3" rockwool cubes and wait for them to root out, once there atleast a few roots coming out of each 3" rockwool cube, i then put then on the nft table.

Thanks for I am exactly same position, girls have been with a friend incubating and he swears on jiffy pellets. He has an ebb/flow system where as I have nft sys, so was confused to whether the pellet would go straight into the larger 3" r/w cubes..

Looks like we have an answer which will be tried over the w/e!

Yippee. :-)
