      One Man, One Plot and some Real Gorillas

      Morning all,   Happy to adding a diary to the comp' - good luck to everyone! I'm still a novice with GG so I expect to be here making up the numbers but look forward to seeing what's possible in everyone else's diaries.   Strains I'll be growing are Fast Lemon Cake and OPG x Freezeland. I've read so many good things about them on here that I couldn't resist. I've decided to go with Photo's only as my soil is a heavy clay and I'm worried that would stunt any Autos. Waiting for my seeds to arrive and then I'll aim to grow them inside under a 100W LED for a month or so before planting out at the beginning of June.   This will be the second year for my one and only plot (hope to find some more plots for next year). There's two beds, one 5m along and the other is 6m long, both 1m wide.  Last year I cleared the area of bramble and nettles before digging the beds and adding a bag of horse manure compost for each m2. This year I'm a bit late preparing the plot and haven't done as much as I'd hoped but I've been a couple times this week to weed the beds and dig over the soil before adding Clay Breaker, Chicken Manure Pellets (5 handfuls per m2), Bone Meal (2 handfuls per m2) and Fish, Blood & Bone (2 handfuls per m2) yesterday. Next week I should be adding more horse manure compost, ideally another bag per m2.   Here's the plot.....     And the before and after of working one of the beds earlier in the week....   Wish me luck!

      Powdery mildew is way worse than thrips or spidermites. There is, pretty much, no getting rid of it without using hardcore fungicides like myclobutanil that are very hazardous to human health, and persist in plant material for years (good luck trying to clone it out).   I have heard in recent years of growers using micronised sulpher to combat powdery mildew, although I haven't seen any definitive success but it could be worth a punt if you've got special plants you're not ready to let go of.

      Well couldn’t be a better day to announce the new improved Fuckwarp F1s are now available - I will be taking payments via PM (sorry to anyone who wanted to purchase that doesn’t have an account with 50 posts).     Heres the description….   A robust, hardy hybrid developed especially for guerrilla growing.  Broad leafed & compact with great drought tolerance and low nutrient requirements, these need little care beyond removing surrounding vegetation (especially relevant during flower to maximise airflow).   The majority of plants will finish mid - late September  (50-54n).   High quality, resinous flowers with funky / hashy smells and good potency.     This new batch is more uniform (less variation between plants), and is tipped more in the direction of the MWF (better flower structure / earlier).     This is a limited release and might be the last batch of Fuckwarps due to inherent seed-making difficulties in the parental lines.        6 seeds -  £45.00 (including P&P)     Freebie seed - ‘Motherfucker' This new hybrid uses the same MWF F4 (S2) donor, but pollinating an inbred ‘MOB' aka 'Mother of berries’, these will be chunky plants with more chance of fruity smelling flowers.  Another grower coined the name which instantly stuck.
