As a first timer I would save myself some cash and some sanity wink.gif

6 x 10 ltr pots and a couple of bags of John Innes saves you about 40 quid

QUOTE
Fan Mounting Bracket £6.50
Carbon Filter CF 240 £90.00

A carbon filter will slow your extraction down to a crawl and isn't really needed if you get your inlet/fan position/outlet set up properly and suspending your Lti Extractor from bungees instead of the supplied bracket will eliminate any vibration noise.

1 x 125mm/5" Jubilee Clip £1.60

If you buy a carbon filter you'll need two of these
One to attach your ducting to the collar on the filter and one to secure the ducting to the fan

24 hour Mechanical Timer £11.50

About a fiver from Argos

QUOTE

Ezi Roll Light Hanger Set £15.00

Two lengths of chain and a couple of 'S' hooks from B+Q for about a fiver.

You can easily knock a good £150 of your shopping list and still grow some kick ass weed wink.gif

{sigh} If we must wink.gif

OK, first off, you need to get your room built. No point in getting your plants germinated and then discovering that you have nowhere to put them.

You have mylar on your list. Mylar is the best thing for reflection, but it is NOT LIGHTPROOF, and is very easily damaged, and about twice the price of normal white plastic
Build your main grow area with white plastic and wooden batons, and then stick a few sheets of mylar to the inside to increase the reflection if you really need to.

Knowing that cost is a problem for you at the moment, you can leave things like the carbon filter till later. Just get your ducting in place to start with, build the room and make sure its light sealed ect. The carbon filter can be added later on, when you have some cash and when you really need it.

Do not get the fan mounting bracket either. Bungees or tights are much better at stopping any vibration and are a lot cheaper. Same goes for the light hanging setup - 2 eye hooks and some sash cord from b&q will do the job so much better, and for a fraction of the price

Once your grow area is built, you will need:

A propagator for your seedlings
Small rockwool cubes to plant the seeds in
a light source - personally I use high output flouro's (about 100 quid, but gives out almost 10,000 lumens), but for seeds, a bank of normal flouro's will do, although you might get some stretch unless you can get the lights well close to the propagator.
A bottle of Formulex. You do not need it right away, because the seed contains enough food for the plant initially, but once you start getting a few sets of leaves, you should damp the cubes down with a weak (1/4 or 1/2 strength) solution
The seeds.

Got a question though - are you planning on having a seperate mother area, to do your vegging in?
Might be an idea. If you can pick up a chest of drawers, you can make a nice little stealth vegging room in it.
There is a link for one somewhere (i think Wilbur did a really good one once), but i can't be arsed to dig it out right now.

After about 4 - 6 weeks, your babies should have germinated and be beginning to look like proper plants. Do not make the mistake of taking em out of the propagator too soon. Wait until you have roots coming right out of the rockwool cube.
Once they have reached this state, you have to make a choice as to how you are going to proceed.

You can either stick the lot under your main light, in the NFT table, veg them for another couple of months (until they are mature) and then flower them, or you could put them in pots, transfer them to your stealth mother cupboard, and then take cuttings from the females once you had sexed them for your NFT table.

I need one of these though i need to disperse of the odour, so ill have the lti inside the GR , ducting outside to the carbon filter outside then more ducting from the filter, this should work ?
