Canna Boost Accelerator

23 posts in this topic

Hey,

I scored a trial bottle of Canna Boost Accelerator, so i'm going to try it out and post my results here. I'm growing DP Durban Poison Feminised, in coco. They have been in flower for almost 2 weeks so the perfect time to start.

Only thing is, I have seen some places say you are supposed to use this with pk 13/14 all through flowering, and some saying use only the canna boost and then pk 13/14 for a week, can anyone shed any light on this? Also, has anyone else using this? What results are you getting?

Unfortunatly I dont have access to a digital cam, so wont be able to actually show you what happens :ninja:

The guy at my grow shop told me to use canna boost accelerator all through the flowering cycle, beginning when flowers start to form....

pk13/14 is still used as normal.....maybe even adding extra pk13/14 throughout the flowering cycle as the canna boost accelator allows the plants to take up more nutrients.

alot more people are using Pk through flower too at low dose then full dose as bottle recomends.

good luck with the Boost id like to give it a shot, apparently to get the most from it you should mix in its own res meaning one res for nute and then a smaller res for Boost as it needs to be mixed every second day, can also dose daily by hand.

One feed a day is enough with normal or coco nute then 3 or 4 normal feeds this for a coco setup.

goodluck

Well, the girls had their first feed of this today. The bottle said feed them 2ml per l for regular flowering power, or 4ml for extra power, so thats what I did :guitar:

Their feed consisted of:

2.5ml Canna Coco A + B /per litre

1.5ml Canna PK 13/14 /per litre

4ml Canna boost accelerator /per litre

Ill keep you posted :D

Today it's been 24 hours since their first feed, and its already making a difference!! When I checked on them this morning, the buds look bigger (more so than their day to day increment so far), and there has been a mini explosion in budding sites. The leaves are turning a more healthy colour (they were going quite pale before).

So far this stuff looks like the tits. Cant wait to see what happens next

Ill try and get the bluetooth working between my phone and the pc and see if I can get some pics up.

Well, incase anyone is interested....

I've noticed growth speed has remained at a steady increased rate. The most noticable thing is where on all the plants i've grown before, the lower buds have always been quite small and nothing compared to the top buds. Using this boost, all the buds from top to bottom are all pretty much the same size and uniform, I can see I am going to be able to crop alot from this.

The thing that is amazing me is the combination of using coco and this feed. Day 1 was on the 17th June, and already there is only 5 weeks of flowering left to go. If everything goes the rate it is I could be cropping once in every just over 2 months :wassnnme:

I've just harvested after using the 'Canna Boost Accelerator' and did indeed get a higher yield. Yippeee.

It's an interesting new product, a bit like the now unavailable 'Triple F' from Hydrotops. It's not a food, it's an additive which increases the rate of photosynthesis so the plants feed more (noticable in hydro systems). Make sure there's plenty of food, pk 13/14 (and whatever else you use) and then slap this in.

The disadvantage, £99 per litre. Although it pays this does sting when you're handing over the cash! Saying that, the difference was noticible, both in quality and quantity so of course I will continue to use it.

It will be interesting to see how you (and other people) get on with it, keep us informed!
