The Shamen

No, not them (though that's still a great tune).

I'll be wetting three Shaman seeds this evening, those that grow and produce healthy seedlings will be going outdoors, hopefully before Summer Solstice. Thanks to @Antonio_DutchPassion for generously sponsoring this grow. :)

Will update with pics once they have hit soil.

Their name always used to get on my nerves - the plural of shaman is shamans, not shamen :bag:

Bands and musical performers will quite often use mis-spellings of words for their names or track names ;)

For one it gets people talking about it even if they're only discussing the spelling lol

As a dj I've used a few bastardised names over the years,

it creates a uniqueness.

They aren't proclaiming to be multiple shaman,

their name is just very similar to a word we are already familiar with.

I hope you get favourable weather to get these over the line :D

Last night I popped three Shaman beans into wee fibre pots.

Apart from the Shaman, these are all replacements for seeds that failed to germinate, or stalled after germination. If all goes well with this bunch, that should be the final wave of plants grown from seed for this season. Shaman are top left in the pic below.

As for the band name, they wouldn't have been The Shamen without the 'e'... :)

Further update on the seeds that hit soil a few days ago. All but two have now surfaced. So there are three Shaman, top left in the pic. They have gone in a tent to veg under lights.

@OldFord, dunno how it will get on here at 56ºN. Might be late October, even November before finished? I'll find out I suppose! :)

As promised, a wee update on the three Shaman girls. They're exactly two weeks old, and doing fine in a small tent. They won't be going out until later, probably not until they are four or five weeks old.

In the pic below, the Shaman are two at bottom left, and one at middle left.
