Fans help

Hi guys,

trying to plan a loft… space I’ve got is 5m long 4m wide and the peak night is 3m and the lowest height is 1.6m

my fans are isomax 10” 2300cfm and I’ve got a 10” phresh filter it’s about a 1m long lol is this over kill? It’s all I’ve got

my intake is like 8” isomax

this stuff was used in a bigger space a while back so it’s been a while since I’ve done a room.

I’ve got a few fan controllers with a thermostat

ahhh so much to sort out cheers guys!

Depends on your lights......The CF will have a minimum run speed

going to try and squeeze 6 x 600w hps in a 5m x 4m x 1.6/3m loft… that’s what I’m going to make out of Mylar there’s more space both sides but the head room sucks! There’s also a windowless dormer

I did use that calculator but it’s for a square room and I’m going to be running a loft

I have never grown in a loft before but have spent a lot of time in them with an old job, I maybe wrong but I think even with that jet engine sized extraction fan you will struggle in the summer with temps

I took an average height of 2m and it recommends your filter (1316CFM vs the 1400CFM its rated at)

I would want to spread the love in triangle space.....run the HPS down the middle at the 3mtrs and put LEDs in the lower ends..This would allow you drop the number of 600w down :yep:

The fan is overpowered and likely to fuck over the filter on full whack (according to their own figures).....even with the 25% for the CF off.....its over rated for the filter imo.

Gonna stick it on half power mate… but for the size of the room it does recommend a 10” fan with 6 lights

as much as I’d love leds this time round it’s a case of using what I’ve got… might be able to flower in a tent downstairs and take out 2 lights… hmmm all a bit of a ball ache
