Drying

Hey everyone, I’ve got couple plants drying in tent temps 15-19c but last nite I noticed it went down to 12c for a short while then stayed at 14 for ages , do u think I should put small oil rad in there? Which I don’t want todo as have flash dryed before and don’t want that again rh in middle 60s, it all looks fine in there so far, the extraction is on low , will this low temp be ok ?

@Killuminati7 Yup that will be fine 15 degrees is a decent drying temp so 14 should be fine it will just slow the dry which is good and 60%RH is plenty so aim for that.

@DeltaMelter thanks bud bit of piece of mind for me the first one in there is 8 days and looking really frosty should get a 14day plus dry, my first lot awhile ago ended being flash dryed and was proper crap, so I’m buzzing for this lot :yinyang:

Slower the better, I'm not sure how low I'd want it to go but I've dried in the cold and as long as the humidity isn't high it will be fine, way better than drying in too hot conditions. I'd avoid the oil rad for sure!

There is something to be said for drying to long as well as flash drying...Its a fine line until it can be bagged or jarred....

One on left took 14 plus days. with bagging to slow down the process....

One on the right took 8 days.......no bagging....

which one would ya think tasted better.?

This picture was after many many years of growing..:g:I'd forgotten how to dry believe it or not. From listenging to others and me thinkin maybe I was doin it all wrong lol

Seeing the results made me realize my "over thinking mistake" with the picture I post, :headpain:
