Ouch.

But to say they have the same visions and values as you, when they clearly dont is a bit silly.

He means they condemn drug use as does he.

I was offered a job in Qatar by WS Atkins that would have set me up for life.

Didn’t take me long to turn it down. Why anyone would take the risk in the Middle East if they take any cannabis products (even cbd) is beyond me.

The way I see it, the regime attracts young, ignorant tax dodgers wanting to make a fast buck. No crime in that except your support for one of the wickedest, disgusting regimes on earth. Enter at your peril all you tax dodging, human rights abuse supporters. No sympathy from me. :yep:

I remember working with a fella about 15 years ago who thought he could get a wrap of coke past customs as he hid it in his wallet! Turns out he wasn't as clever as he thought and ended up doing 1.5 years before being deported, what a twat!

a mate of mine got arrested, tortured and 50 lashes in one of these sand filled, dung holes for getting caught with a couple of bottles of wine.

he was jailed for 6 months and the lashes were dealt out in 2 or 3 seperate whipping sessions. he said it was the most painful thing he had ever endured, (hes still got the scars), and that they were extra hard on him because he was a westerner, and non islamic, so....for that reason.......im out......

It’s weird though ain’t it, because they have nightclubs there selling drinks? I know a few people who’ve gone and was out partying no problems. Also know a bird who goes out there often to escort.

I've been out to the middle east many times, and know many friends who work there.  You respect their customs, do your own thing in agreed enclaves, dont make a fuss and contribute to their society.

sounds fair.

Arsenal get £11m tax dodge bill

Robert Winnett

Sunday October 09 2005, 1.00am, The Sunday Times

The north London club is set to be the first high-profile victim of a campaign by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) against tax avoidance in the game.

Arsenal set up a series of front companies and offshore trusts to reward its stars and save millions in tax every year. On average, players were left paying about half the 40% tax rate for high earners.
