Final 2 weeks??

17 posts in this topic

Evening guys.

So I'm on day 64 from flipping my lights to 12/12.

I'm running wedding cake and cali Bay dream from Gardens of green.

acording to the seedbank they should need 65 days.

Just done my res change and planning on running for 1 more week then running a week with ghe final part ripen.

Some of my girls have fattened up nice but others are still on the small side.

Do you think my plan sounds good. What would you do.

I'm running

2 x 600w has

35l alien rdwc system

Ghe 3 part nutes

Feeding around 1.8ec and ph between 5.5 and 6.5.

Sorry to be asking as I know there are loads of posts asking but its my 1st grow and don't want to mess it up for the sake of a few more weeks.

Seedbanks say all sorts of times - most of them wrong. 2 Weeks as per your plan then get a loupe and check the trichomes. All depends what kind of high you want of course. The more Amber the more heavy the hit. The more clear, a racy hit. The final few weeks see a lot of fattening up on buds

Cheers @Larry Badgeley I would like to get a good amount of Amber as looming for something to knock me out.

I've done autos before and know what to look for on the triomes but really unsure about the ripen for the last week.

Don't want to do it to early and end up wasting the last 4 months.

i think the seed banks take day 1 of flower from when the first pistils appear (usually 7-20 days from flip ime). if you go from this time you will be nearer thier recommended times, but like said, they usually just say 8 weeks , even though. they are never done in 8.

i would be pulling down the feeds by now, since they are on the run down.

Hi

bit awkward and don’t mean to be rude but you have not got your room dialled in at all mate IMO

the first photo is incredible tiny buds for your flowering times, it looks heat stressed and looks like it will yield very little, your other photos of the top buds sprouting 3 heads is again signs of being too close to lights, broccoli growth.

all the leaves are canoeing, because they are being fried.

yields look terrible, you’ve grown a lot of leaf and wood but not much bud at all there.

Saying that, it will be plenty to keep you in Percy but a nightmare to trim.

Yeah mate I agree completely with you. After putting the pics up I realised that they don't really show the bad bits aswell as I wouldnhave liked.

Definitely not dialed in. Was my 1st proper grow and now moving the setup to something more permanent.

Cali Bay dream are definitely heat stressed as you said leaves canoeing. I moved the light as much as I could as the smaller plants would have been far away.

Next grow will be focusing on getting everything dialed in as best as I can now that I will have more space to get in-between plants

@Astanton111  You can always prop up the smaller plants, have had to do that with my current grow, couple of bricks, upside down saucers or upside down pots depending on how much height I had to make up, enabled me to get them canopy much more level and then can lift the reflector to protect the tallest colas without having to worry about it being too far from the shorter plants.

you could lower the feeds as well, they look over fed, and over heated.

once you get it dialled in its a very good system, i used one myself for a few years.

They have been at around 1.8 ec for the last few weeks.

They did look great up to about 5 weeks into flowering.

I raised the ec as it was dropping every couple days but obviously overdone it.

All a learning curve.

The tent was completely full so could only get access to the plants at the front. The back has been neglected a bit.

What’s your extract like and temps out of interest,

If it’s too hot it’s likely you’ll yield more by just running 1 light with good temps instead of 2 with high temps.

it looks much better than my first grow :-)

So just been in there trying to lower temps and realised my intake hasn't been running for the last 5 weeks.

I had borrowed a fan of a mate and gave it back to him. Must have plugged the intake into the fan controller for the hoods and turned it off.

Sorted now but way to late.

On the plus side they have started to swell nicely and 1 of the wedding cake the hairs have all turned brown and some milky trics

Lesson learned won't make that mistake again

Ha we've all done it mate,

few years back I noticed my lights were out at a certain time of the day schedule

turns out the Mrs had been unplugging my contactor to use her curling irons on every now and then when she was going out with friends. And then plugged it back in the next day.

I worked opposite hours so never noticed. Messed my world up!

Sounds like something my wife would do.

Luckily I've got the only key
