HELP! AUTOFLOWERS NOT FLOWERING

21 posts in this topic

Hi, I planted 3 autoflowers, specifically ‘Quick One’ by Royal Queen Seeds on the 8th September so 2 months ago. However they have not got any buds at all as of yet, is this normal? The plants are not in the perfect environment however they do seem to be growing fairly decently. I can’t see any pistils either maybe the odd few but I think there should be a lot more at this age, can anyone help please??? Please see pics below

Hi.  You'll need to upload your images to the site directly mate - site rules.  Presumably you're using a grow light?  Might as well start with the obvious.

Not an Auto unless it's in a massive pot. Try knocking the lights down to 12/12 and see what happens?

@Benlomas7 If you can see some pistils it sounds like she's started.

Flowering times and overall lifetime estimates for autos are not set in stone. Give her time.

All the best with the grow.

To be fair, they are in 20L fabric pots I read 12L is recommended but I don’t think they’re over the top big.  I have had the lights on 24/0 as well so could this be why?

@Benlomas7. I'm no Auto expert but I thought Autos flowered when the roots outgrew the pot? @blackpoolbouncer may be able to help you? Take a picture and upload it if you can.

@Benlomas7 From the first pic I'd say she's going into flower.

note how the nodes are bunching up. and I think I see some pre flower pistils.

Thanks mate, I was just wondering because with them being two months old now I thought the entire life span of the quick one was only around 8 weeks so I thought she should of been way on her way to harvest now. Maybe just slow due to not being in perfect conditions, I’ll just keep hopeful that I get atleast something from them! Haha
