AIR EXCHANGE?! Can i fit 4 lights in my room??

Hi guys,

Im upscaling my grow from a tent to a room. Im hoping to put 4 lights in, i already have 2x600w HPS.. but would my 8” 1008m3/h extraction be enough? I cant find a calculation.

My room has a calculated volume of 12.6m3.

More light = more heat     ..weep

I would say no.

My shed with an 8" could barely keep 2 x 600w temps down.  Yea my fan is old and stuff, but four lights.....I just can't see it.

Someone needs to show me their setup to change my mind on that, I'm not taking just their word and a few numbers.

Do you honestly believe that your fan actually shifts that much when you take into account filter and ducting reducing flow, plus the factmanufacturers give bullshit high numbers on everything, plus fans get weaker over time ?

Hope this helps.  Get a bigger extraction or a 2nd one is my advice.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

So im thinking il use that fan as the intake (with temp controller) and upgrade my extraction to a 12” 1375m3/h..

Would that work? Also the 2extra lights im thinking of adding would be 315w CDMs if that makes any difference.

if your adding two x  315w CMHs to the two 600w Hps, then that'll be 1830w.

I'd also consider getting a fan power controller instead of a temp controller, as they give you better control when running the fans.
