First grow with autos

If you're not doing it yet, learn to judge how much water they need by the 'hefting' method, i.e. lift 'em up and feel how heavy they are. It's the best and only way to tell for sure.

For a first go you are doing really well. Especially when you consider the amount of travelling and upheaval they have had. You will end up with about 6 ounces or more from those lovely girls for all your troubles and hard work.

You have at least 3 weeks to go, so just coast them along to the finishing line and treat 'em nicely. To get this far your environment must be pretty spot on, so you can stop worrying about that. It looks like you are watering and feeding them adequately, so you can stop worrying too much about that. The only thing you need to worry about as far as I can tell is your lights, and they will screw up a good grow if they are too powerful. More light does not always equal more/stronger/quicker bud. Normally too much light leads to misery and woe.

The only other thing you need to consider is when you are going to harvest. You have to cross that bridge when you come to it. My advice would to be very patient and finish them properly. I would also suggest starting a few more autos now and to start a perpetual grow going.

I'm going to keep watching and hope to see a good harvest of this bud in a month's time.

Thanks for the advice Bay leaf , unfortunately the light doesn’t have a dimmer on it it’s a 2000w burple from Amazon(238w at the wall), I’ve moved it up to the top of the tent, it’s only 1.8m high so prob gone up another 6-8” hopefully that helps I’m planning to upgrade for the next run.

i have been watering on wet dry cycle using a finger dip and pot weight as guide. But for the last few have been bottom feeding to see how much they are actually drinking.

i must say I am rather pleased considering the upheaval and building the kit through the grow at the start I would have been pleased with an oz... but now I can’t wait to see how much it comes in at... and most of it is down to putting into practice the great advice I get here.

as far as the perpetual grow the landlord wants to come round for an annual inspection. I’ve put him off because of COVID. So as soon as this one is done I’m packing up so he can come round then I’ll set up again prob after Christmas might get 2 tents going for veg and flower.

I use pm organic bloom and might give one plain watering before chopping but don't flush any more than that. Opinions differ and I think chemical feeds do need flushing more.

Very nice :)

Ended up at dry trim with 58g amnesia(although took 10g wet off at cut)

and 78g dr jack, smoked a bud from both both smooth and nice high, not intense but creepers, so just under 5oz for my first grow and very very happy just got a bit of each in a bag while I leave  to leave them alone for a month now
